From early morning at the foot of Nghia Linh mountain - Hung Temple National Special Historical Relic Site, Phu Tho , many people around the area and tourists from all over the country followed the main gate to the ceremony yard and the Gieng Temple 5-way intersection area.
Many people from far away bring incense, flowers, and offerings to Hung Temple, hoping to soon go to the temple to burn incense and show gratitude to their ancestors.
According to Mr. Le Truong Giang, Director of the Relic Site, it is estimated that tens of thousands of pilgrims have visited the Ancestral Land this morning. The Relic Site and the Festival Organizing Committee have increased their staff to help visitors. Security forces have done a great job. The Youth Union of Phu Tho Province has mobilized hundreds of youth union members to help visitors and clean up trash at all locations of the Relic Site.
Many tourists arrived last night to attend the death anniversary of National Ancestor Lac Long Quan and offer incense to Mother Au Co this morning.
Every year (excluding the 2 years of the Covid-19 pandemic), the Hung Temple historical relic site welcomes 6-8 million pilgrims to the origin of the Ancestral Land, with up to 1 million people on the peak day (the death anniversary).
