On the afternoon of December 2, Politburo member, Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man - Head of the Steering Committee for the 80th Anniversary of the Vietnamese National Assembly and delegates conducted the opening ceremony of the Vietnam National Assembly Museum - a place to preserve and spread the precious values ​​of the 80th anniversary of the National Assembly.

The National Assembly Museum is a meaningful project, contributing to completing the comprehensive picture of the 80-year history of the National Assembly. From the History Room - Museum (1999), to the National Assembly Tradition Room (2014) and now the National Assembly Museum, this is the place to preserve, conserve and spread the precious values ​​of 80 years of the National Assembly; honoring the contributions of the National Assembly leaders through the periods, the sense of responsibility and devotion to the Fatherland and the People of generations of National Assembly deputies.

With an exhibition area of ​​over 800m², the Museum introduces nearly 1,000 images, documents and 250 typical artifacts such as the collection of the Constitution, badges of National Assembly deputies of all terms, seals of the National Assembly Standing Committee; the red flag with yellow star hung at the Tan Trao National Congress in 1945, ballot boxes for the election of National Assembly deputies of the first term in 1946, the light sculpture "The Power of the People's Heart" donated by artist Bui Van Tu...

This is also a "memory bank" that preserves precious spiritual values, reflecting the 80-year journey of overcoming difficulties and constant innovation, affirming that the National Assembly is the highest representative body of the People, the highest state power body of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Each artifact, image, and document on display tells a story about the dedication, passion, intelligence, and responsibility of generations of National Assembly leaders and deputies, contributing to making the activities of the National Assembly increasingly innovative, effective, and efficient.

The exhibition space at the Museum also has a profound educational and inspirational meaning, helping the public - especially the young generation - better understand the role of President Ho Chi Minh, who laid the foundation for the National Assembly of Vietnam; about the activities of constitution-making, legislation, supervision, and decision-making on important issues of the country; at the same time, more clearly identify the role of parliamentary diplomacy, thereby enhancing the understanding of international friends about the journey and foreign affairs achievements of the National Assembly of Vietnam, contributing to enhancing the position and image of the National Assembly in the international arena.

The establishment of the Museum is also an important milestone, affirming the efforts to preserve and promote historical values ​​of the Vietnamese National Assembly.

In order for the Vietnam National Assembly Museum to be effective, in his speech at the opening ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man requested the agencies assigned to manage and operate the museum to promote professionalism, modernity and creativity in their operations; proactively research, collect and supplement valuable documents and artifacts; apply modern technology and digital transformation; build a digital database of documents and artifacts; research and edit displays, creating optimal technical and artistic spaces.

Strengthen cooperation with National Assembly agencies, relevant agencies, museums and domestic and international organizations to build the Vietnam National Assembly Museum into a knowledge storage center; National Assembly agencies and National Assembly deputies contribute and donate artifacts to enrich the archives, contributing to the building of an increasingly perfect Museum.

At the same time, it is necessary to build a team of museum staff and guides with political courage, professional qualifications, professional skills and good foreign language ability; gradually apply artificial intelligence in explanations and guidance to increase attractiveness. Promote propaganda so that many people know about the Vietnam National Assembly Museum, becoming an "attractive address" contributing to political and ideological education, especially for the young generation, in learning about the history of the National Assembly.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Manh stated that the National Assembly Office will continue to innovate the exhibition work, strengthen the conditions to ensure the Museum's operations, build and innovate the operation and sightseeing work... so that the Vietnam National Assembly Museum can truly become an educational and inspirational space, becoming one of the bridges for the public, the young generation and international friends to pay attention and better understand the Vietnam National Assembly in the historical process of the nation.
