The Vietnamese Traditional Clothing Festival "Hundred Flowers of Joy" is a special cultural project within the Happy Vietnam Day 2025 program, implemented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Hanoi People's Committee, Vietnam Television, and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.
With a distinctive three-stop route, participants enter a festive atmosphere and experience a journey of joyous Vietnamese culture. The rhythm and costumes of the procession lead viewers back to different eras, from the solemnity of wedding ceremonies during the Nguyen dynasty to the familiar wedding scenes of the 1990s.
Each scene depicts a sacred moment of Vietnamese weddings through different periods, contributing to highlighting the cultural depth of traditional wedding rituals.

At Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, the celebratory atmosphere of the Nguyen Dynasty, with its solemn setting, traditional costumes, and distinctive rituals, transports viewers back to the joyful days of the past.

Recreating the festive atmosphere of different eras.
In front of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports (47 Hang Dau Street), a reenactment of a Vietnamese wedding from the 1990s evokes a sense of intimacy and nostalgia, recalling familiar images deeply ingrained in the memories of many generations.

Spreading positive cultural values.
At 18 Ngo Quyen Street, the solemn atmosphere of a wedding ceremony is recreated, along with the ritual of exchanging dowry, highlighting the rich traditional culture.

The parade started from Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, passed through Hang Dau Street, Trang Tien area, Hang Khay Street, circled Hoan Kiem Lake, and returned to the main stage. Along the way, joyful greetings mingled with the rhythmic drumming and fluttering costumes, creating emotional stops that allowed viewers to clearly feel the pride of seeing cultural values revived in the heart of the Old Quarter.

The Vietnamese traditional costume festival "Bach Hoa Hy Su" (Hundred Flowers Joyful Event), with the participation of the Bach Hoa walking community, creates a space where the old traditions blend with modern life. Attendees can admire processions in vibrant Vietnamese costumes, rituals reminiscent of traditional weddings, and images rich in symbolism from joyous occasions of the past.
The event contributes to spreading long-standing cultural values and conveying the beauty of Vietnamese lifestyle closer to the public.
