Initiated in 2015, Art In The Forest has contributed to positioning Flamingo Dai Lai as a leading cultural and artistic destination. Over the past 10 years, more than 50 large sculptures and 70 paintings and installations have appeared among pine forests, grassy hills, lakes...

Flamingo Contemporary Art Museum was established in 2020, turning nature into an "eternal picture frame", opening up a large space for art appreciation.

According to artist Luong Xuan Doan, Chairman of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, the project and art museum in the forest is “a new step forward in contemporary Vietnamese art”. The sculptures in the project not only create aesthetic impressions but also tell cultural stories, conveying messages about the harmony between humans and the environment. Diverse materials such as stone, wood, and metal are processed in many styles, opening up dialogues between artists and the forest space.

“The museum also pioneered a new way of making art when the company proactively invited famous artists to create new sculptures. These works also did not need to be approved by any Council. Thanks to that, over the past 10 years, dozens of new works have been introduced to visitors,” shared artist Luong Xuan Doan.

Emotionally sharing at the celebration, artist Katsumi Mukai (Japan) said that the greatest value of the art space in the forest lies in its ability to connect people with art in its most natural state. The open space allows each work to “breathe” with the landscape, making viewers feel the aesthetic, cultural and spiritual values that the artist conveys.

On this special occasion, representative artists of Vietnamese contemporary art, including Dao Chau Hai, Le Thi Hien, Do Hiep, Nguyen Tran Uu Dam, Hoang Tuong Minh, Hoang Mai Thiep, Pham Dinh Tien and Le Anh Vu, introduced new works here.

At the program, the Organizing Committee launched a campaign to support flood victims in the Central region, raising more than 608 million VND.
