
The concert was held to honor the great contributions of the late musician Van Cao, a talented son of Ninh Binh, author of the Vietnamese National Anthem. He is a great symbol of modern Vietnamese music in the 20th century, a staunch revolutionary soldier, patriot who used music as a weapon, as a flame to light up the national spirit.

Attending the music program were comrades: Dang Xuan Phong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Tran Huy Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee; Mai Van Tuat, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. Also attending were comrades of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Provincial National Assembly Delegation; comrades of the Provincial Party Executive Committee; leaders of departments, branches and sectors; representatives of the family of the late musician Van Cao and many artists, singers and people in the province.


The music program includes three chapters: Revolutionary Autumn; Van Cao - a poetic soul in the midst of war and war; Homeland, Country - Eternal Desire, with 16 famous songs, selected from the author's two main creative themes: love songs and heroic songs.
During the program, delegates and audiences experienced many emotions, from the deep, passionate melodies and affection for the homeland and country with "My Village", the excitement of "The First Spring", "Harvest Day" to the revolutionary, lively space of the songs "Praise to President Ho", "Epic of Lo River", "Vietnamese Soldiers"...

In particular, the moment when the audience sang the song “Tien Quan Ca” together made the music night even more heroic and meaningful. The songs in the program were elaborately staged, harmonized, combined with modern projection technology and sharp panorama images, bringing the audience back to memories, sublimation in emotions, proud and sacred vibrations dedicated to the homeland and country.

The music night featured performances by many artists such as: People's Artist Quoc Hung, Meritorious Artist Phuong Nga, singer Pham Thu Ha, Vo Ha Tram, Dong Hung, Tran Hong Nhung, Minh Thuy, Duc Trung, rapper Hoang Nam, and the group Dong Thoi Gian... Each artist, with their own musical color, breathed new life into Van Cao's music while still preserving the original spirit that the late musician conveyed.



“The Van Cao-Duyen Ninh Binh Music Night” is not only an opportunity for the public and audience to remember and pay tribute to the late talented artist and immerse themselves in the timeless melodies, but also to convey a message about the lasting value of Vietnamese music and the spiritual heritage that has created the national identity. This contributes to fostering patriotism, bravery, pride and national self-respect of every Vietnamese person, especially the young generation.
