Use energy sparingly, efficiently and protect the environment.

On December 5, the Department of Industry and Trade of Tay Ninh province organized a workshop on "Propaganda of the Electricity Law; Law on Economical and Efficient Use of Energy; Environmental Protection; Dissemination of Knowledge and Training on Preparing Greenhouse Gas Inventory Reports". The activity aims to support agencies and businesses in the province to update new regulations and access professional information to serve management and production and business activities in a sustainable manner.

At the workshop, delegates focused on analyzing three key groups of contents including the provisions of the Electricity Law related to the management, operation and development of the power system; the contents of the Law on Economical and Efficient Use of Energy with requirements applicable to enterprises with large energy consumption; regulations on environmental protection and instructions for preparing greenhouse gas inventory reports according to Decree 119/2019/ND-CP of the Government , amending and supplementing Decree 06/2022/ND-CP on greenhouse gas emission mitigation and ozone layer protection.

With the goal of “Giving tools – Solving difficult problems”, the workshop emphasized the key role of enterprises in implementing policies on energy saving, efficiency and environmental protection. The application of energy saving solutions not only contributes to ensuring national energy security, but also helps enterprises reduce costs, improve competitiveness and meet green standards in the global supply chain. Technological solutions supporting greenhouse gas inventory and modern energy management models were also introduced, helping enterprises have more options suitable to actual production conditions.

In addition to training, the Department of Industry and Trade of Tay Ninh province said it will continue to advise the Provincial People's Committee on implementing a mechanism to support businesses in implementing legal regulations on energy and environment. In particular, the focus is on promoting simplification of appraisal procedures, connecting green financial resources, supporting technology conversion, building a management system and using energy effectively right at the enterprise. At the same time, the Department of Industry and Trade affirmed that it will continue to play the role of a bridge between the management agency and the business community, accompanying the roadmap to build a green production model, aiming at the sustainable development goals of the province./.
