The People's Council of Dong Ngac Ward voted to approve 12 important resolutions.

HNP - On December 6th, the People's Council of Dong Ngac Ward, term I, 2021-2026, held its fifth session - the last regular session of 2025 - to address important matters within its authority.

Ngo Van Nam, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Dong Ngac Ward, delivered a speech at the meeting.

Speaking at the session, the Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Dong Ngac Ward, Ngo Van Nam, emphasized that this was a very important session to review the implementation of socio -economic development tasks and ensure national defense and security in 2025; to consider, discuss, and decide on the key directions and tasks for 2026; and to decide on several other important issues within the authority of the People's Council of the ward.

2025 marks the first year the ward officially operates under the two-tiered local government model after its establishment following the reorganization of administrative boundaries. Despite a large workload and numerous new tasks, thanks to the close leadership of higher authorities, the coordination of the People's Committee and the Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, and the consensus and support of the people, the ward's socio-economic situation has achieved many important results.

The socio-economic situation in 2025 witnessed many positive changes. Basic indicators met and exceeded the plan. Total budget revenue in the area reached VND 50.5 billion/VND 31.629 billion, achieving 159.6%. Total budget expenditure reached VND 306.643 billion/VND 306.643 billion, achieving 100% of the allocated budget. Significant efforts were made in urban management, construction order, and public investment disbursement; social welfare was ensured; and national defense and security were maintained. Attention was paid to resolving petitions and voter requests.

At this session, the Ward People's Council will focus on reviewing, discussing, and deciding on key issues including the report on the implementation of socio-economic, national defense, and security tasks in 2025; the plan for 2026; presentations and draft resolutions on public investment in 2026; the budget estimate and allocation for 2026; the list of land acquisition projects and the 5-year land use plan; the results of thematic supervision; the supervision program and the establishment of supervision teams in 2026; questioning and answering questions; considering resolutions on answering questions and voter recommendations; and other important issues within the authority of the Ward People's Council. These are all very important issues with great significance for the development of the ward in 2026 and the following period.

With a spirit of responsibility, democracy, frankness, and insightful, focused contributions, ensuring that the resolutions of the Dong Ngac Ward People's Council are practical and feasible, the fifth session of the Dong Ngac Ward People's Council, first term, 2021-2026, has completed all the planned agenda items.

To prepare for the session, the Standing Committee of the People's Council closely coordinated with the People's Committee, the Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, and relevant units in preparing reports, presentations, and draft resolutions; the Committees of the People's Council conducted thorough reviews, closely adhering to practical realities. At the session, along with democratic discussions and objective assessments of socio-economic results in 2025, especially emphasizing solutions for 2026, the People's Council of the ward voted to approve 12 resolutions, which serve as important legal bases for the ward to effectively utilize resources and comprehensively implement socio-economic development tasks in 2026.

The session also included time for questioning and answering, focusing on issues of concern to voters: land allocation for service purposes, issuance of land use right certificates, and public investment (installation of streetlights, renovation of drainage systems in the area, disbursement of public investment...). The questions were concise and to the point; the leaders of the People's Committee and relevant units provided clear answers, solutions, and commitments on implementation timelines. The People's Council requested the People's Committee of the ward and relevant units to seriously implement the commitments made in the questions; promptly address the shortcomings mentioned in the verification report and through supervision; and fully incorporate the opinions of the delegates to finalize solutions for implementing tasks in 2026.
