The Ca Mau Provincial People's Council approved the Socio-Economic Development Plan for 2026.

The Ca Mau Provincial People's Council, 10th term, 6th session, has adopted Resolution No. 41/NQ-HĐND on the socio-economic development plan for 2026.

Ca Mau province will focus on developing its marine economy .

According to the Resolution, Ca Mau province aims for a GRDP growth rate of 10%, a GRDP per capita of 91 million VND; total social investment of approximately 90,000 billion VND; the digital economy accounting for 8% of GRDP; export turnover of 2.8 billion USD; and state budget revenue of 11,405 billion VND.

In 2026, the province will focus on developing the marine economy, high-tech agriculture , processing industries, and renewable energy; accelerate digital transformation, develop transportation and digital infrastructure; improve the effectiveness of state management, reform administration, and build a digital government, digital economy, and digital society.

In addition, the province focuses on ensuring social security, improving the quality of human resources, and improving the lives of the people; managing and protecting resources and the environment; proactively adapting to climate change, while maintaining national defense, security, and social order and safety in the province.
