Diverse playground

Since the beginning of May, the Provincial Children's House has announced the recruitment of summer courses suitable for each age group. According to Mr. Huynh Anh Vu, Deputy Director of the Provincial Children's House, the unit has deployed more than 30 gifted and learning classes for children from 4 to 15 years old, including subjects such as aerobics, martial arts, yoga, English... On this occasion, the unit also coordinated to organize cultural activities, sports, and weekend playgrounds, bringing a healthy and useful playing space for children and their families.

One of the highlights of this summer is the “Little Artist” painting class. With the painting exhibition themed “Paintings of teachers and children” scheduled to be held on May 25, 2025, this is an opportunity for young artists to unleash their creativity.

Mr. Huynh Anh Vu, Deputy Director of the Provincial Children's House, added that in addition to the gifted classes, the unit also opened a boarding class to foster and review knowledge called "Nurturing Talents", helping children to study while still having fun, creating a useful summer, not only learning but also developing comprehensively. Activities such as the program "Learning to be a police officer" and "Summer camp for skills training" also received special attention from parents and students.

Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Van Hue, Director of the Provincial Library, said that this summer, the unit will accompany the children of the province with many activities such as: Organizing the 15th Children's Fine Arts Award Competition - 2025 and the Children's Storytelling Festival based on books in 2025 with the theme "Books give children thousands of good things". The festival will be held on June 25 at the Provincial Cultural Center.

Towards comprehensive development

In order to strengthen the care, education and protection of children, the People's Committee of Binh Duong province has just issued a plan for the Month of Action for Children in 2025 with the theme "Prioritizing resources to achieve goals for children". This year's Month of Action for Children takes place from June 1 to June 30.

The objective of the Action Month is to raise awareness among all levels, sectors and the community about child care, education and protection; effectively implement policies and laws on children; proactively address children's issues, prevent and minimize risks of child abuse and injuries, especially drowning and traffic accidents.

According to the plan, the Provincial People's Committee requires 100% of districts, cities and related units to develop implementation plans and effectively organize activities in the Action Month for Children in 2025 in accordance with the conditions and actual situation of the locality and unit. Communication activities will be organized widely to raise public awareness of children's rights and the responsibility of society in protecting, caring for and educating children. The programs will focus on preventing accidents, injuries, child abuse and creating a safe living environment for children.

During the Action Month for Children this year, Binh Duong province pays special attention to children in difficult circumstances. The Provincial People's Committee has directed localities to organize visits and present 2,275 gifts to children in special circumstances on the occasion of International Children's Day (June 1), each gift worth 200,000 VND. In addition, activities such as free swimming lessons, organizing tours, exchanges, and entertainment are also deployed to support the children.

According to Mr. Bui Minh Tri, Vice Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee, organizing the Month of Action for Children is a practical activity, demonstrating the deep concern of the Party, government and the whole society for the young generation, the future of the country.

In order to effectively carry out activities to take care of the material and spiritual needs of union members and young people and create conditions for children in the whole province to have a joyful and rewarding summer, the Provincial People's Committee will organize the launching ceremony of the Month of Action for Children, the opening ceremony of the summer and the 9th "Children's Day June 1" of Binh Duong province in 2025, on the morning of May 20, at the Provincial Convention - Exhibition Center.
