The Suon Doi Ecological Urban Area in Hoa Vang District, Da Nang is planned with a population of about 194,240 people, a suitable space for both commercial development and residential needs. The project will be deployed on a total area of about 2,832 hectares.
Da Nang City has just issued a Decision approving the 1/2,000 scale urban ecological planning project of Suon Doi. Accordingly, the urban area is located in the communes of Hoa Ninh, Hoa Son, Hoa Nhon, Hoa Phu in Hoa Vang district. The project will be implemented on a total area of about 2,832 hectares.
The Hillside subdivision is a new urban area that prioritizes the development of tourism - commercial services combined with housing, with green space and water surface distributed around Duong Ba Lang mountain, resettlement areas, hillside villas, high-rise buildings with high land use coefficient.
At the same time, this area focuses on sustainable development, in harmony with the natural landscape, experiencing urban life associated with large public spaces.
The subdivision will have low building density to ensure views towards the mountains to the west.
The planning boundary to the north borders DT602 road; to the west borders the Western Ring Road; to the east borders the Hai Van South bypass (La Son - Tuy Loan expressway); to the south borders the Tuy Loan river and the new planning road.
DH2 Road through Hoa Son and Hoa Nhon communes, intersecting with Ba Na - Suoi Mo - Hoang Van Thai route, was inaugurated on January 30, 2024, with a length of 8.92km, parallel to the bypass from the south of Hai Van tunnel to Tuy Loan, connecting residential areas of Hoa Son commune with the administrative center of Hoa Vang district.
Current status of the eastern area of the Hillside subdivision adjacent to the Hai Van South bypass (La Son - Tuy Loan expressway). Currently, the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway at the intersection with Ba Na - Suoi Mo road is under construction.
The west of the subdivision borders the Western Ring Road. The 19 km long route from National Highway 14B to Ho Chi Minh Road, passing through 5 communes of Hoa Khuong, Hoa Ninh, Hoa Phu, Hoa Phong and Hoa Lien, will be put into use from April 30, 2024.
The subdivision is organized into 11 residential units; 3 functional areas outside the residential units; the central core area is mainly existing forest combined with a group of existing houses and villages. In the photo is the residential area of Hoa Nhon and Hoa Phong communes (Hoa Vang district) along both banks of Tuy Loan river, bordering the south of the Hillside subdivision.
The population of the Hillside subdivision is about 194,240 people.
The subdivision takes the natural landscape of Duong Ba Lang mountain as the center to orient the organization of surrounding functional areas.
The core area is the existing forest, with the orientation of forming a number of parks associated with the existing lakes to create a central landscape highlight of the entire area and regulate the climate for the area, ensuring national security and defense.
The urban center is defined as the area on both sides of Hoang Van Thai Street with a total area of about 532 hectares including: Residential units and duty-free zones. The subdivision prioritizes investment projects to strengthen connections inside and outside the planning area, serving the needs of population growth; stabilizing people's lives and attracting residents to develop the urban area as well as attracting investment projects.
