Putting the Resolution of the District Party Congress into practice, determined to successfully complete the set goals, focusing on rapid and sustainable socio -economic development, the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of Thanh Son District Party Committee have issued many specialized resolutions to lead and direct implementation with the motto of taking practical results as the most standard measure... Up to this point, Thanh Son has had 7/15 targets achieved and exceeded the targets set by the Resolution of the 26th District Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025.

Thanh Son is a locality with many potentials and advantages, but due to its starting point, the ability to mobilize and accumulate internal resources is still low while the need for investment and development is large, making it impossible for the district to make a breakthrough. Based on the local reality, the 26th Congress of Thanh Son District Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025, set the goal of "Continuing to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee; exploiting the potential and advantages for rapid and sustainable socio-economic development".

The district has identified the breakthrough as “Improving the investment and business environment to attract resources for development, focusing on developing infrastructure and industries, fields and areas with potential advantages”. In particular, focusing on socio-economic development, increasing income for people; actively mobilizing resources to build synchronous infrastructure. Thereby, the investment and business environment in the district has been increasingly improved, many investment projects, especially private investment, have been approved and are being implemented.

Thanks to correctly identifying the breakthrough and issuing the right thematic resolutions that are close to local realities, after 3 years of implementation, the thematic resolutions have come into life and proven effective, not only helping to promptly resolve immediate difficulties and obstacles in the locality but also creating an important premise for the goal of rapid and sustainable development. Up to now, Thanh Son has achieved and exceeded 7/15 targets of the Congress Resolution; 8/15 targets reached 60%, of which many targets are close to the targets set by the Resolution until 2025.

Some targets achieved high results such as total social investment capital in the 2021-2023 period reaching nearly 5,300 billion VND, reaching 60.65% of the Resolution's target by 2025; average income per capita reaching 37.7 million VND, reaching 94.25%; total state budget revenue reaching nearly 220 billion VND, exceeding the Resolution's target; average product value per hectare of agricultural, forestry and fishery land reaching 117.5 million VND, exceeding the Resolution's target; the poverty rate is 8.3%, exceeding the Resolution's target...

Currently, the whole district has 6 communes meeting new rural standards and 129 residential areas meeting new rural standards. Along with economic development, education and training, people's health care, food safety and hygiene, labor and employment, poverty reduction, and implementation of social policies continue to receive attention and direction. The district promotes administrative reform, contributing to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management; strengthening Party building and building the political system. The preservation and promotion of cultural identity and typical traditional festivals serving tourism development in Thanh Son has had a strong change in awareness, contributing to raising awareness of protecting and promoting traditional cultural values in the locality.

Large timber trees, high-quality rice, specialty rice, grapefruit, tea, yellow banana, cattle, goat, pig and chicken farming suitable to local advantages are identified as key crops and livestock, focused on development, expansion of scale and planting area. The livestock sector is interested in development, encouraging livestock farming towards disease safety and environmental protection. Promoting the economic strength of the hills and forests, the district has implemented many solutions to encourage the development and expansion of large timber growing areas. The One Commune One Product OCOP program has always been directed with attention.

Tea trees are identified by the district as a key crop.

Mechanization and transfer of scientific and technological advances into production have been enhanced; the formation and development of agricultural production according to the chain linkage has been encouraged. Up to now, the district has 5 chains, the subjects are enterprises and cooperatives operating in the district linked with supermarket chains inside and outside the province. Forms of production organization have been interested, encouraged, attracting enterprises to invest in production, develop cooperatives, cooperative groups, develop farms and family farms. The proportion of agricultural labor in the total social labor force by 2023 is estimated at 55.0%...

Along with the achieved results, in the process of implementing the Resolution, Thanh Son district still has limitations such as: Economic growth is not really sustainable; resource mobilization is still difficult; the quality of some social fields is still limited...

The internal traffic system and rural traffic are invested in construction in the new rural commune of Dich Qua.

Concentrating resources to successfully implement socio-economic development goals, building a clean and strong political system in accordance with the spirit of the Resolution, comrade Dang Quang Huy, Secretary of Thanh Son District Party Committee said: “In the coming time, the District Party Committee will focus on leading, directing, and synchronously implementing solutions to strive to achieve higher targets than those that have been achieved, and soon complete unachieved targets. In particular, promoting administrative reform, improving the investment and business environment; mobilizing investment capital from the budget, integrating investment capital from new rural construction programs, sustainable poverty reduction, rural transportation and socialized capital sources to invest in building infrastructure systems.

In agricultural production, the district mobilizes people to apply scientific advances in production and processing, implement land consolidation and plot exchange to form specialized production areas. Continue to encourage and support OCOP products that achieve 3 stars or higher; speed up the progress of putting Thuc Luyen and Thang Son industrial clusters into operation, attract businesses to invest in accordance with approved industries and fields, create jobs for local workers and promote the socio-economic development of the district.

Along with that, the district maintains the development of construction materials production industry; non-metallic mineral mining and processing industry to serve local consumption and export needs; strengthens management of industrial production enterprises in the area, especially labor safety and hygiene, environmental pollution treatment, and fulfills obligations to the State according to the provisions of law.
