Notre Dame Cathedral (Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral) is not only a historical landmark and a prominent French architectural masterpiece, but also a popular spot for tourists to take photos during Christmas and New Year. Especially in 2025, which marks the 25th anniversary of the Holy Year, the Christmas decorations at Notre Dame Cathedral will be even more unique.

A string of LED lights stretching up to 1,000km has been hung across the exterior of Notre Dame Cathedral. As night falls, the lights illuminate in a sparkling golden hue, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for a new Christmas season.

This year's lighting schedule runs from November 29, 2025 to January 5, 2026, with the lights on each day from 6:45 PM until late at night. However, from December 8, 2025 to January 5, 2026, the church will keep the lights on continuously until 3:00 AM the following morning.

The number of lights this year is double that of last year, making the space even more attractive to tourists and residents of Ho Chi Minh City.

The LED-lit Notre Dame Cathedral has become a Christmas tradition for many years. Located in the Place de la Commune de Paris, the cathedral was begun in 1877 and completed three years later, and to this day remains an iconic landmark of Ho Chi Minh City.

Crowds flock to the center of Ho Chi Minh City to admire the beautifully illuminated Notre Dame Cathedral every evening. Everyone wants to take a check-in photo with the best views of the cathedral as a memento of this Christmas season 2025.
