The conference was attended by representatives of departments, branches and 40 communes and wards in Hue city.

Resolution 05/2019/NQ-HDND issued in 2019 has created an important legal basis for the development of community-based tourism in Hue City. After nearly 5 years of implementation (2020 - 2025), the policy has contributed to forming a widespread community-based tourism network, spreading cultural and ecological values, improving people's livelihoods and affirming the brand "Hue - a destination of heritage, culture, ecology and community".

According to the representative of the Department of Tourism , the outstanding result is that it has supported 30 community tourism sites with more than 65 new homestays, 12 renovated homestays, 44 signboards, 24 typical tourism products, 34 professional training classes, 8 vocational training classes. Forming a chain of unique community tourism destinations of Hue City in many localities throughout the city.

Resolution 05/2019/NQ-HDND has created a clear change in the awareness and actions of the community; promoting local tourism potential, contributing to promoting the restructuring of the rural economy , preserving culture and increasing people's income. The total number of community-based tourism visitors in the period of 2020 - 2025 is estimated at over 2.8 million/year. Tourism infrastructure has been invested, many traffic routes connecting community-based tourism points have been upgraded. In Hue, the community-based tourism brand has been formed, with prominent products: Hue pomelos, conical hats, Thanh Tien paper flowers, A Luoi tourism, Thanh Toan tile-roofed bridge rural market, Phuoc Tich ancient village...

The conference also proposed to continue maintaining and promulgating the Resolution for the 2026 - 2030 period with a higher support level, with a total estimated budget of 194 billion VND (162 billion VND for development investment capital, 32 billion VND for public service capital). Prioritizing investment in 20 - 30 key DLCCĐ points, striving for DLCCĐ visitors to account for 30% of the total number of visitors in the city by 2030. In addition, it is necessary to supplement policies to support environmental protection, promote advertising, and digital transformation in DLCCĐ. Promote socialization and inter-sectoral coordination to promote the sustainable effectiveness of policies.
