Honoring a foreign coach who is wholeheartedly dedicated to Vietnamese youth football.

When the HAGL Arsenal JMG Academy, founded by Chairman Duc, was established in 2007, Coach Graechen was the first person sent to Vietnam by the global JMG Academy to provide training. Under his guidance, the first batch of students from this academy, such as Cong Phuong, Tuan Anh, Xuan Truong, Van Toan, etc., have matured, risen to the status of top stars, and made significant contributions to Vietnamese football.

Not only did Coach Giom polish rough gems into shining stars, but he also achieved many other accomplishments. He helped the Vietnam U19 team win the runner-up position at the 2013 Southeast Asian U19 Championship, the runner-up position at the 2014 Southeast Asian U22 Championship, and qualify for the 2014 Asian U19 Championship finals. In addition, his U19 team also won the Southeast Asian U19 Fair Play Award in 2014 and the Fair Play Award in 2013.

"Nearly 20 years ago when I came to Vietnam, there weren't many classes or training centers. Now, players have earlier access to football, learn sooner, while clubs also have more choices. That's a positive sign for Vietnamese football. The fact that the Vietnamese youth team qualified for the U17 World Cup is a motivation for all young players," said Coach Graechen.

After receiving the award, Guillaume Geaechen returned to his search for new talents like Cong Phuong and Xuan Truong.

Former pupils of Coach Graechen, such as Cong Phuong and Dong Trieu, were present at the ceremony to congratulate their coach. Meanwhile, due to busy match schedules, other players like Hong Duy, Tuan Anh, and Van Toan sent congratulatory flowers and expressed their gratitude through video clips played on the screen. Some players from the Nutifood Academy, such as Hieu Minh, came in person to congratulate their coach.

Born on April 24, 1977, in Vernon, France, Graechen began his playing career in 1993 with Dijon FC. During his 14 years as a player, he played for clubs such as Dijon, Angers, Sedan, Romorantin, Imply Decize, and others. After retiring, he transitioned to scouting young players for the global JMG academy.

In 2007, he came to Vietnam to work for the HAGL Arsenal JMG Academy, marking the beginning of his two-decade-long commitment to youth football in Vietnam.
