'Even with only 10 players, Vietnam U23 still won'
In this match, the Vietnam U23 team won a thrilling penalty shootout to secure third place overall. At the post-match press conference, coach Kim Sang-sik shared: "This was a very difficult match. I want to thank the entire Vietnam U23 team and the coaching staff for their hard work. We played with 10 men but still won. It was fantastic. I am very grateful. I want to thank the fans who came to the stadium and those who cheered on television. I also want to thank Hieu Minh, who suffered an injury. I thank all the players for their utmost efforts. The Vietnam U23 team gave me so many emotions."
Mr. Kim continued: " Both the South Korea U23 and Vietnam U23 teams are currently very tired, both physically and mentally. Nevertheless, the players from both teams gave their all today, showing incredibly courageous fighting spirit. Especially in a situation where we were down a player, the players held on to a draw until extra time and took the match to a penalty shootout. I believe that through experiences like this, our players will mature a step further, and this will be an opportunity for them to continue developing even more."

Coach Kim shared: " Dinh Bac scored, but then, in the euphoric atmosphere, he made a mistake and was sent off with a red card. It was a very difficult situation, but I always had faith in my players. I believed that even with only 10 men, they could still hold on until the end. However, matches like this are very difficult to deal with."
