“The loss to the Philippines was bitter. The Vietnamese women’s football team played better than their opponents, especially in the second half. We created many scoring opportunities, while the Philippine women’s team had almost no clear-cut chances in the second half of the match, until they scored the only goal.

All my players played their best and put in a lot of effort. The spirit of the Vietnamese women's players is unquestionable. The players are not at fault for the past defeat," coach Mai Duc Chung added.

The Vietnamese women's football team will soon face Myanmar on December 11. If we win this match, we will qualify for the semi-finals.

Coach Mai Duc Chung shared: “Myanmar is a team with many players with good physical strength and speed. They have improved recently. However, I have studied their playing style. I will arrange suitable personnel to face the Myanmar women's team.”

“The Vietnamese women’s team is ready to play bravely against Myanmar. We are familiar with their playing style, as we have met many times. We will do everything we can to aim for victory against this team,” coach Mai Duc Chung affirmed.

Meanwhile, midfielder Bich Thuy of the Vietnamese women's team said: "The whole team will play with more concentration and determination in the upcoming match against Myanmar. I also hope that more fans will come to the stadium to cheer for us."

“The presence of fans will be a source of motivation for the female players. I myself will try my best, hoping that luck will come to me and the entire Vietnamese women's football team in the upcoming match,” Bich Thuy added.

The match between the Vietnamese women's football team and Myanmar will take place at 4:00 p.m. on December 11 in Chonburi.
