According to the Telegraph , the Lewis family, owners of Tottenham, along with CEO Vinai Venkatesham, are considering personnel options following the 1-2 defeat to West Ham in the latest Premier League match.
This defeat not only caused Spurs to fall behind in the race for the top spot, but also sparked a wave of intense anger from fans in the stands and on social media.
Coach Frank will continue to lead the team in the Champions League match against Dortmund on the morning of January 21st, a crucial clash for Tottenham's European ambitions this season. However, this is considered only a short-term solution, as the Danish strategist's position is reportedly not secure after the aforementioned match.
If Tottenham continue to perform poorly and results don't improve, the club's management is prepared to sack Frank, especially as pressure from the fans mounts. Another defeat could be the final straw.
In just the first half of the season, the Premier League continues to prove itself a ruthless "man-killing machine," with six managers sacked by their clubs, making it the top European league with the most managerial changes. In early 2026, Enzo Maresca (Chelsea) and Ruben Amorim (Manchester United) were the latest two managers to leave due to poor results and internal conflicts.
In this context, Tottenham clearly have little patience left for manager Frank. The manager himself will have to work harder if he wants to save his job.
