The photo exhibition largely focuses on documentary photographs of President Ho Chi Minh, portraying the portrait of a great personality through very simple, everyday things. President Ho Chi Minh – the founder, trainer, and leader of our Party, the founder of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam). He is a national liberation hero and a world cultural figure. Yet, throughout his life, he shone with a simple, tolerant lifestyle, loving his compatriots and his country more than himself. The photo exhibition takes viewers back to Duc Thanh School, where teacher Nguyen Tat Thanh once taught; it shows President Ho Chi Minh's departure from Nha Rong Port to seek a path to national salvation; and it also shows his immense contributions to the Communist International…
Viewers were deeply moved by the photographs capturing scenes of President Ho Chi Minh contributing rice to alleviate famine during the historic 1945 famine, images of him working in a stilt house in the Viet Bac War Zone, reading after a day's work, and crossing streams on his way to work… There were also images of his meals along the resistance route, and photographs of him working amidst the vast forests of Viet Bac… There were also images familiar to millions of Vietnamese hearts, such as President Ho Chi Minh reading the Declaration of Independence in the historic Ba Dinh Square, the image of “President Ho Chi Minh leading the song of unity,” or images of President Ho Chi Minh visiting and encouraging the people and soldiers during the fierce years of war. Yet, upon seeing them again, one is still moved by the great yet intimate and endearing image of our beloved President Ho Chi Minh.
The photo exhibition at the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Temples in Luong Tam and An Thanh communes also showcases images of Can Tho's devotion to President Ho Chi Minh. These include the inauguration ceremony of the renovated and upgraded Ho Chi Minh Monument at Ben Ninh Kieu Park in 2009, images of President Ho Chi Minh being respectfully depicted in artistic programs, and images of people lining up to offer incense and flowers, respectfully remembering and paying tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at the Ho Chi Minh Monument in Ben Ninh Kieu and at the two Ho Chi Minh Memorial Temples…
The photo exhibition "Ho Chi Minh - The Most Beautiful Name" is a journey that takes each person back to the noble values that Uncle Ho left for the nation. Through each photograph, the image of the great leader emerges as both sacred and sublime, yet also close, simple, and full of love. From there, it awakens in the viewers a sense of national pride and profound gratitude towards the beloved Uncle Ho.
