At 10:45 a.m. on November 2, Director of Nam Ha Tinh Irrigation Company, Tran Manh Cuong, said: Currently, Ke Go Lake is spilling water at a flow rate of 300 m3 /second. This discharge level compared to 7:30 a.m. on the same day has decreased by 100 m3 /second.
The time of the largest spillover of Ke Go lake was on the morning of November 1 with a flow rate of 550 m3 /second. Thus, compared to the spillover flow rate on the morning of November 1, at this time, the discharge level of Ke Go lake has decreased by nearly half.
At 10:00 a.m. on November 2, Ke Go Lake's water level was at 31.8/32.5 m, equivalent to a capacity of 320/345 million m3 .
The rain gradually stopped and Ke Go lake reduced its discharge, helping to reduce the level of flooding in the downstream communes of Ke Go lake such as Cam Due and Cam Binh. However, the flooding situation in the localities is still complicated.

Due to the influence of cold air combined with high-altitude easterly winds, from the night of October 29 to the morning of November 2, there was rain in Ha Tinh, especially in the southern coastal plains, there was moderate rain, heavy rain, and in some places very heavy rain.
Rainfall measured at automatic rain gauge stations from 17:00 on October 29 to 6:00 on November 2 was generally from 550mm to 1051mm.
Prolonged heavy rains, combined with dam overflows, have caused flooding in many residential areas in Ha Tinh. Up to now, 4,021 households have been flooded, including 2,950 households in Cam Due; 750 households in Cam Binh; 8 households in Ha Linh; 227 households in Cam Xuyen; 83 households in Ha Huy Tap; 3 households in Dong Tien...
