Company profile specializes in writing reports for hire but applies to build high-speed railways

(Dan Tri) - Vietnam 3000 Company Limited's main business is food trading, is writing reports for hire, designing powerpoints but applied to build the North-South high-speed railway.

Vietnam 3000 Company Limited - Vietnam Investment and Development Group is one of five enterprises attending a meeting with leaders of ministries, branches and enterprises about the high-speed railway project on the North-South axis on November 27.

At the meeting, the company representative emphasized that the North-South high-speed railway is a large project, requiring coordination between the Government and investors, especially in capital mobilization.

The company wants to do the project and wants to choose the form of investment cooperation under the public-private partnership (PPP) in the perspective of "coordination and support" because there are many potential risks. The representative of Vietnam 3000 said that they will mobilize and bring capital for the project, and at the same time call for good experts in the field to implement the project.

That is true, but when asked about financial capacity and if cooperating in PPP, what will be the capital contribution ratio of the enterprise; capacity and legal basis, basis for the enterprise to mobilize capital... the enterprise representative could not answer, some answers were not on point.

The Ministry of Construction commented that the dossier of Vietnam 3000 Company Limited did not have clear documents proving financial capacity, and the progress proposals were also very vague.

The State Bank requires businesses to specifically disclose the financial resources of the "ecosystem" they mention, instead of general promises about "bringing 100% of capital to Vietnam".

According to the National Enterprise Registration Portal, Vietnam 3000 Company Limited - Vietnam Investment and Development Group was established at the end of 2020 with a charter capital of 369 billion VND. Ms. Ngo Thi Thang, born in 1954 (registered permanent residence in Cau Giay, Hanoi ) is the Director and Legal Representative.

Notably, the enterprise registered up to 84 business lines, of which the main line is food wholesale.

On its website, the company describes itself as participating in the “World 3000” program, a program for global economic development and human rights. The sponsor of the program is “the world banking group with a history of thousands of years”, with the mission of “the world is public, the world is united”.

The Group also introduced three affiliated legal entities: Vietnam 3000 Energy and Water Joint Stock Company, AGR.3000 Vietnam Joint Stock Company and Vietnam 3000 Company Limited.

The fields that businesses said they are investing in include social projects, poverty reduction; technology; industry; real estate development; financial and technology consulting and brokerage...

However, the project portfolio can be counted on the fingers. For technology projects, Vietnam 3000 only introduces the service of powerpoint design.

For commercial and manufacturing projects, this company offers internship report writing services. The company claims to have been writing for hire for 7 years, and most of its staff have PhDs.

Meanwhile, no real estate projects of Vietnam 3000 have been found yet.
