Since the beginning of the year, the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center has participated in more than 20 fairs and events organized by the Central Government, provinces and cities. Typical examples are the Son La Plum and Safe Agricultural Products and Food Week in Hanoi in 2025; Son La Safe Agricultural Products and Food Week in Hai Phong in 2025; Fair for Trade Promotion of Agricultural Products and OCOP Products in the Northwest - Son La region in 2025; Autumn Fair in 2025...

In particular, the Fair for Promoting Trade of Agricultural Products and OCOP Products in the Northwest - Son La 2025 to celebrate the 130th anniversary of the province's founding is one of the large-scale fairs, with 250 booths of more than 120 domestic units and 5 provinces of Laos. Son La province alone has nearly 100 booths of participating enterprises and cooperatives.

Ms. Le Thi Hong Anh, Director of the Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, said: Fairs and trade promotion events have created opportunities for businesses and cooperatives to display and promote their products; at the same time, learn, find partners and expand markets. The Center always supports booths, market information and trade connections to improve promotion effectiveness. Thanks to that, many businesses and cooperatives have increased their market capacity, found large customers and signed stable consumption contracts.

As one of the units actively participating in the province's trade promotion activities, Binh Thuan Production, Trading and General Services Cooperative, Binh Thuan commune, has proactively promoted its products at all fairs and events organized by the province. Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh, Deputy Director of the Cooperative, shared: The Cooperative has a 4-star OCOP product, Trong Nguyen Tea, a typical rural industrial product at the provincial level and the 2019 Vietnam Agricultural Golden Brand. The product maintains its market position thanks to its stable quality and the support of the province. The Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center creates conditions for the Cooperative to participate in major fairs, thereby expanding access to consumers and cooperation opportunities with deep processing enterprises. Currently, the Cooperative is linking production with more than 400 households in Chieng La commune, Binh Thuan and some neighboring communes of Dien Bien province to grow and care for nearly 500 hectares of raw tea. Each year, the unit processes nearly 500 tons of finished tea, supplying businesses in Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho and exporting to the Taiwanese market.

At the 2025 Autumn Fair in Hanoi, Phuc Sinh Son La Joint Stock Company's booth attracted a large number of visitors thanks to its professionalism and high-quality specialty Arabica Son La coffee products. Ms. Hoang Thi Hoa Thuong, a sales staff of the Company, said: The Fair is an opportunity to effectively promote Arabica Son La coffee, a popular product line in Europe, Korea and Japan. At each event, the Company sends a professional team in charge of marketing and customer care. Thanks to that, after each participation, the number of orders increased, especially with Blue Son La and Cascara Blue Son La products, which have attracted many new customers to place orders.

Ms. Le Thi Hong Anh added: With prestigious, quality products and impressive display space, Son La province's booth has contributed to the success of the 2025 Autumn Fair, an event that attracts more than 100,000 visitors per day and sets a new record for the number of visitors at national trade promotion fairs. As a result, Son La booth was honored as one of the 30 "Typical display spaces" of the Fair.

Thanks to the promotion of trade, especially through fairs, Son La agricultural products have expanded their markets and reached more potential customers. In the past 10 months, the whole province has consumed more than 478,800 tons of various fruits and hawthorns, with a revenue of over VND4,520 billion; of which, domestic consumption was over 389,000 tons, processing over 84,270 tons and exporting over 4,800 tons.

Enterprises and cooperatives actively participating in fairs and trade promotion activities not only increase sales but also effectively promote the brand "Son La Agricultural Products" to domestic and foreign consumers. OCOP products and specialties such as tea, coffee, mango, longan, plum... always attract the attention of customers and partners at major events. Many units have strongly transformed, invested in sustainable raw material areas, applied deep processing technology, improved packaging and designs to meet the modern market. Regular participation in fairs also helps businesses grasp consumer trends and adjust production and business strategies more effectively.

Son La agricultural products have good quality, large and stable output. To make Son La become the leading agricultural center in the region, the province continues to create conditions for enterprises and cooperatives to participate more in domestic and foreign fairs, promote products, learn from experiences, seek partners and expand markets, contributing to increasing revenue and sustainable development.
