At Khanh Hung Clean Fruit Cooperative, the unit received more than 7.7 tons of organic microbial fertilizers and 920 kg of biological products to improve soil and process agricultural by-products into organic fertilizers, contributing to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting circular agriculture. The Cooperative also received financial support for evaluating and granting VietGAP certification for green-skin pomelo products, opening up opportunities to improve quality and expand consumption markets.

Delegation of officials from the Institute of Science , Technology and Environment and the Cooperative Union of Ca Mau province worked with Khanh Hung Clean Fruit Cooperative.

Ms. Tran Thi Viet Anh, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and Director of Khanh Hung Clean Fruit Cooperative, thanked the Institute of Science, Technology and Environment for the practical support. According to her, this activity not only helps the Cooperative improve its production methods in a safe and sustainable manner but also increases its ability to adapt to the increasingly complex impacts of climate change.

Ms. Tran Thi Viet Anh, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and Director of Khanh Hung Clean Fruit Cooperative, shared the advantages and difficulties in finding outlets for green-skin pomelo products.

For the Tien Bo Agricultural - Service Cooperative (Nguyen Phich commune), operating in the field of aquaculture , the Institute of Science, Technology and Environment has handed over the following items: 350 kg of biological products used to treat water and mud at the bottom of ponds, helping to improve water quality, limit pathogens and stabilize the farming environment in the context of climate change. At the same time, the Cooperative was supported with funding to assess and certify the environmental management system according to ISO 14001:2015 standards, contributing to improving overall management capacity and meeting environmental protection requirements in production.

Delegation of officials from the Institute of Science, Technology and Environment and the Cooperative Union of Ca Mau province visited the green-skin pomelo garden of members of Khanh Hung Clean Fruit Cooperative.

Mr. Do Van So, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director of Tien Bo Agricultural - Service Cooperative, affirmed that this support is an important foundation to help the Cooperative complete modern, safe production processes and proactively respond to climate change.

Representative of the Institute of Science, Technology and Environment, Ms. Vu Thi Khac, Head of the Department of Science - Quality Management, said: The handover activities are an important step in the implementation of the science and technology tasks in 2025, contributing to spreading effective support models to cooperatives throughout the Mekong Delta. The Institute will continue to accompany cooperatives to promote the application of science and technology, improve the production environment and aim for the goal of sustainable agricultural development in the face of climate change impacts.
