– On the morning of June 24, the Institute of Non-Traditional Security, the Youth Union of the School of Business Administration (Vietnam National University, Hanoi ) coordinated with the Provincial Border Guard Command and the Provincial Police to organize a volunteer program at Thanh Loa Border Guard Station, Cao Loc District.
Attending the program were Comrade Nong Luong Chan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Lieutenant General Nguyen Xuan Yem, Director of the Institute of Non-Traditional Security; leaders of the Provincial Border Guard Command, Provincial Police; leaders of the Youth Union of Hanoi National University.
Provincial Police leaders and Secretary of the Youth Union of Hanoi National University presented gifts to people and poor students overcoming difficulties in Thanh Loa commune.
Here, the units coordinated to organize activities with a total budget of 200 million VND. Of which, the leaders of the Institute of Non-Traditional Security and representatives of the School of Management and Business awarded 130 million VND to support Thanh Loa Border Guard Station to build a road to inspect the border protection markers in the area of marker 1164. It is known that the project has been completed with a length of 180m, width of 1.2m, contributing to the convenience of border guards and soldiers in patrolling and protecting border sovereignty .
At the same time, the leaders of the Institute of Non-Traditional Security; Youth Union of the School of Management and Business presented gifts to 20 policy families, households in difficult circumstances and 20 poor students who have overcome difficulties in Thanh Loa commune, worth 500 thousand VND/gift; presented 2 gift boxes, 2 bookcases and various books and newspapers to Thanh Loa commune police, Thanh Loa border post.
Leaders of the Institute of Non-Traditional Security presented a plaque supporting funding for the construction of a road to inspect border markers to protect the border to Thanh Loa Border Guard Station.
On this occasion, the Youth Union of Thanh Loa Border Guard Station and the Youth Union of the School of Business and Administration signed a cooperation program for the period 2023 - 2025, aiming to organize activities for youth union members of the two units to raise awareness and responsibility in studying, training, scientific research, and protecting national border security and sovereignty.
