Free support for 5 million business households to convert tax declarations

DNVN - On November 11, Sapo Technology Joint Stock Company held a ceremony to announce the program of Free full set of tax declaration conversion solutions - Committed to supporting 5 million business households from traditional to e-commerce.

Announced in the context of Decision No. 3389/QD-BTC and Decision No. 3352/QD-CT being widely implemented nationwide, the program aims to stand side by side and support business households to confidently declare before the elimination of lump-sum tax from January 1, 2026.

Mr. Tran Trong Tuyen - Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director, Sapo Technology Joint Stock Company emphasized: The elimination of lump-sum tax marks an important turning point in the process of modernizing Vietnam's tax system. From 17 years of experience accompanying hundreds of thousands of retail customers, Sapo realizes that the prosperity of the economy starts from small businesses - important links in the local commercial ecosystem.

Sapo commits to accompany the Tax industry, associations and technology enterprises throughout the entire implementation process: from training, consulting, to direct support on the ground.

According to Mr. Tuyen, digital transformation is not just about digitizing books but also about changing management thinking, helping businesses increase revenue, reduce costs, make operations transparent and easily access capital and incentives. Sapo is committed to accompanying the Tax sector, associations and technology enterprises throughout the entire implementation process from training, consulting, to direct support at the local level.

According to Mr. Mai Son - Deputy Director of the Tax Department, Ministry of Finance , the conversion from lump-sum tax to declaration is a strategic step, demonstrating the determination of the Party and State in building a fair and transparent tax system and promoting the development of the private economic sector. The Tax sector is currently managing more than 3.6 million business households nationwide, of which over 2 million households will receive special support in the process of converting from lump-sum tax to electronic declaration based on actual revenue and income.

The Deputy Director called for the coordination of technology enterprises, associations and partners like Sapo, considering this an important bridge between management agencies and taxpayers, helping the transformation process take place in a practical and humane manner.

On the basis of those policies and guidelines, the accompaniment of technology enterprises plays a key role in realizing the policy into life, helping the transformation process take place smoothly, effectively and sustainably.

At the activation program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Khue - Vice Chairman of Sapo's Board of Directors shared about Sapo's role and technology solutions in supporting business households in tax declaration, issuing electronic invoices and preparing a roadmap for conversion to enterprises.

Working closely with businesses, responding to the 60-day peak transformation program of the Tax industry, Sapo officially introduces the free solution set Sapo 6870, including: Sales management, Electronic invoice issuance, Automatic tax declaration right on mobile phones.

Sapo provides a completely free 24-month software support package, 2,000 electronic invoices and 3 months of digital signature use for business households participating in the program. This is a practical and socially committed action, affirming the spirit of accompanying 5 million business households nationwide in the key transformation plan by the end of 2025.

“This is not only a technology support program, but also Sapo's social commitment, helping businesses enter the digital transformation journey simply, effectively and sustainably," Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Khue emphasized.

At the same time, for large-scale businesses or those in the process of converting to enterprises, Sapo also provides free support with Sapo Accounting software, helping businesses fully comply with regulations on declaration, invoices, documents and accounting books.

Currently, Sapo is deploying a network of more than 1,000 experts, partners and consultants across the country, ready to accompany the Tax Departments in supporting business households in converting to the tax declaration model. This team directly guides, installs software, and supports each step in important processes such as registration, issuance of electronic invoices and tax declaration in accordance with regulations. At the same time, Sapo's AI chatbot is integrated into the software, has been trained and updated according to the latest legal documents, and acts as a 24/7 consultant appearing anytime, anywhere with business households.

In parallel with its activities in the area, Sapo also launched the "Tax Station and Electronic Invoice" page, and coordinated with experts, tax agents and tax officers at the facilities to organize a series of seminars, talks and livestream instructions, helping business households understand policies, easily access technology and confidently fulfill tax obligations in the digital environment.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Cuc - President of the Vietnam Tax Consultants Association (VTCA) said that the program of switching to electronic declaration is of special importance to about 5 million business households nationwide, helping to improve transparency and fairness in tax management.

The Chairman of VTCA said that the Ministry of Finance and the Tax Department are reviewing and amending Circulars 6 and 8 to simplify the accounting regime and declarations for business households, while acknowledging practical support initiatives from technology enterprises such as Sapo, with a support package worth 5 million VND for business households and free consulting programs. "Business households should proactively record books, collect documents and test software. Voluntary declaration will help reduce risks and not lead to collection of taxes from previous years," Ms. Cuc recommended.
