Specifically, activities to restore and preserve fine traditional cultures such as folk songs, folk dances, folk performing arts, and traditional crafts are at risk of fading away and losing the identity of the Tay, Thai, Dao, Muong, Phu La, Tho, and O Du ethnic groups in the provinces of Yen Bai , Phu Tho, Dien Bien, and Nghe An.
The program will support research, restoration, preservation and promotion of the following intangible cultural values: "New rice celebration of the Tay ethnic group in Van Yen district, Yen Bai province" in Van Yen district, Yen Bai province; "Be panpipe art of the Thai ethnic group in Nghia Lo town, Yen Bai province"; "Bell dance and Turtle dance of the Dao ethnic group in Yen Lap district, Phu Tho province"; "Du drum dance of the Muong ethnic group in Yen Lap district, Phu Tho province"; "Phu La ethnic village sweeping ceremony" in Tuan Giao district, Dien Bien province; hammock weaving craft of the Tho ethnic group, Quy Hop district, Nghe An province; folk songs, folk dances and folk music of the O Du ethnic group, Tuong Duong district, Nghe An province.
The Department of Ethnic Culture is the unit that coordinates with relevant parties and localities to implement the program to implement the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State on preserving and promoting the traditional culture of ethnic minorities in association with local tourism development. This is also an activity that contributes to effectively promoting the investment resources of the State, society and community in preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities in the provinces of Yen Bai, Phu Tho, Dien Bien, and Nghe An.
At the same time, strengthen national solidarity, especially for young people through cultural activities, teaching folk songs, folk dances, teaching traditional crafts, cultural rituals imbued with the identity of each ethnic group; create conditions for the community to exchange, have healthy entertainment from traditional cultural values... The Organizing Committee also wishes to raise public awareness about preserving and promoting the cultural identity of ethnic minorities, promoting the role of cultural subject capacity of artisans, village elders, village chiefs, prestigious people and ethnic minorities.
Stakeholders synchronously carry out research, cultural and artistic conservation with propaganda of the Party and State's policies and guidelines on preserving traditional culture associated with tourism development, hunger eradication and poverty reduction, improving the quality of life in difficult areas, remote and disadvantaged areas. Along with that, propaganda and integration of plans for developing intangible culture and tourism into research programs, conservation, and promotion of intangible culture of ethnic minorities at risk of being lost...
