On the afternoon of July 17, news from the Quang Binh Department of Health said that due to limited medical conditions in Noong Ma village (Laos), when signs of abnormal labor appeared, Ms. Mang Xon (born in 2000), residing in Noong Ma village, Bua La Pha district, Khammouane province (Laos) was taken by relatives to Thuong Trach commune health station (Quang Tri province) to receive timely support for "mother and child safety".

After Ms. Mang Xon was taken to Thuong Trach Commune Health Station, the medical staff of Thuong Trach Commune determined that the pregnant woman was in poor health, her fetal heart rate was unstable, and the medical facilities here were also difficult, so the doctors and nurses decided to transfer Ms. Mang Xon to a higher level. However, during the transfer, the pregnant woman suddenly went into labor and gave birth. The medical staff of Thuong Trach Commune Health Station calmly handled the situation quickly and successfully delivered the baby.

Currently, Mang Xon and her child are both in stable health and are being monitored and cared for by medical staff in Thuong Trach commune. The local government of Thuong Trach commune, Quang Tri province has also sent people to visit and encourage Mang Xon and commend the sense of responsibility and dedication of the staff of Thuong Trach commune health station.
