Additional support of 400 billion VND for Thai Nguyen, Cao Bang, Lang Son, Bac Ninh to overcome consequences of floods

On October 12, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed a decision to provide emergency funding for the provinces of Thai Nguyen, Cao Bang, Lang Son, and Bac Ninh to overcome the consequences of floods.

Accordingly, 400 billion VND will be supported from the central budget reserve in 2025 for the above 4 localities to meet immediate urgent needs and stabilize people's lives after floods, including: Thai Nguyen 250 billion VND, Cao Bang 50 billion VND, Lang Son 50 billion VND, Bac Ninh 50 billion VND.

Previously, the Prime Minister signed Decision No. 2221/QD-TTg on October 8, providing emergency support of 140 billion VND to the above 4 provinces to promptly provide relief and support to people and initially overcome the consequences of floods, including: Thai Nguyen 50 billion VND, Cao Bang 30 billion VND, Lang Son 30 billion VND and Bac Ninh 30 billion VND.

On October 2, the Government also supported 2,524 billion VND from the central budget reserve in 2025 for 15 localities to support people's lives, repair dikes, irrigation reservoirs, natural disaster prevention works, essential infrastructure, and stabilize residents in urgent disaster areas affected by storm No. 10 and other natural disasters from the beginning of 2025.
