Support the construction of solidarity houses for 100% of poor and near-poor households

On September 26, Bac Kan ward held the first Congress of the Ward Fatherland Front, term 2025-2030.

Leaders of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Fatherland Front Committee congratulated the Congress.

During the past term, the Bac Kan Ward Fatherland Front Committee has made clear innovations, notably the effective implementation of patriotic emulation movements, the campaigns "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods"... Social supervision and criticism work has become increasingly routine; social security activities have been effectively implemented, contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc.

In 2024 alone, over 95% of the ward's families achieved the title of Cultural Family, and 100% of residential groups established village covenants and conventions. In 2025, the Fatherland Front and ward member organizations supported 44 poor and near-poor households and meritorious people to build and repair houses with a total cost of over 2.4 billion VND; mobilized nearly 500 million VND to support households affected by storm Yagi in 2024...

In the 2025-2030 term, the Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Kan ward strives to have over 95% of families achieving the title of Cultural Family, over 90% of cultural residential groups annually; effectively maintain 100% of self-management models on security, order and environmental protection; strive to mobilize the "For the Poor" Fund and social security programs to reach over 40 million VND/year; support the construction of solidarity houses for 100% of poor and near-poor households in need; by 2030, there will be basically no poor households.

The Congress consulted and elected the Bac Kan Ward Fatherland Front Committee, term I, 2025-2030, including 51 official members and 5 alternate members; and elected delegates to attend the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thai Nguyen province, term 2025-2030.
