After being crowned, Miss Thanh Thuy continued to have meaningful activities in Japan before returning home on November 18.

As part of the program after being crowned Miss International 2024, the new Miss Thanh Thuy is not only the pride of Vietnam but also an inspirational ambassador for sustainable development goals. Recently, she made a special visit to the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) headquarters in Tokyo, Japan, along with the runners-up of the contest.

Miss Thanh Thuy and other runners-up visited the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.

Here, Thanh Thuy participated in a discussion, listening to touching stories about the lives of children in disadvantaged countries. She shared pictures and videos of 7 special children that were displayed at the headquarters, helping her understand more about UNICEF's efforts to improve nutrition, health and protect the rights of children around the world .

Through this visit, Miss Thanh Thuy and the Miss International organization together affirmed their strong commitment to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially towards supporting children and protecting their rights.

One of the goals that Thanh Thuy pays special attention to is goal number 6 on clean water. Before participating in Miss International, she carried out a project to bring clean water to people living in Thanh Phong commune, Thanh Phu district, Ben Tre province.

Within the framework of this project, Miss Thanh Thuy and sponsoring partners have organized the installation of a water filtration system in the kindergarten area, helping to solve the problem of lack of clean water that children and people are facing health risks every day.

Thanh Thuy shared that this project not only helps provide clean water, but also demonstrates her social responsibility to the community.

On this occasion, Miss International organization and Top 5 donated a part of their support and contribution to UNICEF for a sustainable and safe future for children.
