In 2025, Hoa Phat Group contributed 13,000 billion VND to the state budget across 20 provinces and cities nationwide. Of this, Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel and Hoa Phat Hai Duong Steel were the two member companies making the largest contributions to the budget.

Hoa Phat Group contributes to the state budget in 20 provinces and cities nationwide. The largest contribution to the state budget comes from Quang Ngai province, with 8,153 billion VND, accounting for 63%. In addition, Hoa Phat also makes significant contributions to the state budget in Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Quang Ninh, Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang.

The total amount of taxes and fees paid by Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company, including VAT on imported goods, import and export taxes, domestic taxes, etc., reached VND 8,237 billion, making it the largest contributor among the Group's members in 2025. Following closely behind is Hoa Phat Hai Duong Steel Joint Stock Company with VND 2,034 billion, a 48% increase compared to 2024.

Hoa Phat Group is currently the largest steel producer in Southeast Asia with a capacity of 16 million tons by the end of 2026. Of this, 60% is high-tech steel, serving industries such as mechanical engineering, automotive manufacturing, shipbuilding, oil and gas, household appliances, steel structures, and energy. Currently, Hoa Phat is the only Vietnamese enterprise that has invested in the production of hot-rolled coil (HRC) steel.

Hoa Phat is currently implementing a project to build a rail and special steel production plant in Dung Quat. The plant is expected to produce rail steel by 2027, serving key railway projects in Vietnam and for export to international markets.
