Nostalgia for Tet (Vietnamese New Year) of my mother's past.

This work comprises 50 poems, a story told through cheerful verses mixed with nostalgia about the Tet holiday of childhood, from a mother of the 90s generation to her beloved child. Today, life has changed: life is more prosperous and comfortable, replacing the days of hardship during Tet, but one thing remains unchanged: everyone looks forward to celebrating Tet together with their family.

Author Cao Mai Trang shared: “As someone living far from home, I understand the meaning of Tet (Lunar New Year) better than anyone else. When I was little, Tet was simply about eating delicious food and wearing nice clothes. It was a time when my parents didn't have to work, and I got a break from school to play with my siblings. But as I grew older, I realized that Tet is a time for reunion, for retreating into the warmth of home, a place filled with family love and laughter…”

My mother's Tet memories are filled with the joyful atmosphere of the holiday, expressed through gentle, clear verses and bright, cute, and relatable illustrations. It's not only a beneficial source of spiritual nourishment for young readers but also for adults seeking moments of relaxation and reflection during the Tet season.
