Hoan Kiem: Promoting democracy at the grassroots level, caring for people's lives

Reviewing the 95 years of glorious tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairwoman of the Hoan Kiem Ward Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh emphasized the role of the Front in promoting patriotism, great national unity, uniting all classes, ethnic groups, and religions, contributing with the Party, army, and people to gain independence and freedom for the country.

Over the years, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hoan Kiem ward has become an important bridge between the Party, the government and the people; effectively implementing supervision, social criticism, giving opinions on Party and government building, promoting patriotic emulation movements, campaigns, organizing people's representative conferences and the National Great Unity Day, creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere.

Continuing the glorious tradition of the past 95 years of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hoan Kiem ward continues to innovate the content and methods of operation, focusing on the grassroots, linking the Front's work with local tasks, taking care to consolidate the great solidarity bloc, implementing well the Democratic Regulations, improving the effectiveness of supervision, criticism and resolving pressing issues at the grassroots.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hoan Kiem Ward Party Committee Truong Thi Thanh Nhan commended collectives with many achievements in movements and campaigns of the Front.

At the same time, pay attention to the material and spiritual life, protect the legitimate rights and interests of the people, encourage all classes of people to enthusiastically participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, promote people's mastery, and participate in building a clean and strong Party and government.

Speaking at the ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee Truong Thi Thanh Nhan highly appreciated the achievements of the Ward Fatherland Front in recent times.

Agreeing with the direction and tasks set by the ward's Fatherland Front in the coming time, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee requested the ward's Fatherland Front to innovate the content and methods of operation; do a good job of grasping and reflecting the local situation, and taking care of the people's interests.

In 2026, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward needs to coordinate with the government to effectively implement the election of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term in accordance with the provisions of law.

At the ceremony, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoan Kiem ward commended and rewarded 32 collectives and 95 individuals with many achievements in the movements and campaigns of the Front.
