Complete the railway overpass on National Highway 14E before May 31, 2026.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Thang, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Road Administration, has just signed and issued Document No. 78/CĐBVN-QLCL regarding the adjustment of the implementation schedule for the bidding packages of the Project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 14E, section km15+270 - km89+700, Quang Nam province (now Da Nang city).

The Vietnam Road Administration has approved the adjustment of the contract implementation schedule for packages XD01, XD02, and XD03 until October 31, 2026, as directed by the Ministry of Construction . Packages XD04 and XD05 must be completed by October 31, 2026, as requested by Project Management Board 4 (the unit assigned to manage the project). The Vietnam Road Administration has directed Project Management Board 4 to implement the procedures for adjusting the contract implementation schedule for the five aforementioned packages. The Administration also requires the management unit and the construction unit to essentially complete the main items.

The Vietnam Road Administration noted that the main bridge section of the railway overpass on National Highway 14E, passing through Thang Binh commune (under construction package XD01), must be basically completed before March 31, 2026, and the approach roads at both ends of the overpass must be completed before May 31, 2026.

Previously, the Ministry of Construction issued Decision No. 2180 dated November 28, 2025, approving the adjustment of the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 14E, section km15+270 - km89+700, Quang Nam province (now Da Nang city). The Ministry decided to adjust the project's completion date to October 2026.

Based on the approved adjusted project implementation schedule, the Vietnam Road Administration shall exercise the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the investor in implementing the project in compliance with regulations. It shall strictly manage the quality, progress, and total investment of the project, ensuring that the total investment does not exceed the approved amount, thus avoiding losses and waste.
