Tourists scan QR code to visit Thang Long Imperial Citadel.
The implementation of the e-ticket system is part of the digital transformation roadmap of Hanoi city, and at the same time, practically responds to the Plan to implement the project "Applying technology of industry 4.0 to develop smart tourism, promoting tourism to become a spearhead economic sector" of the General Department of Tourism, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
From June 15, customers can book tickets via the website http://vedientu.hoangthanhthanglong.com/vi/node/add/book-ticket using a computer or mobile phone instead of queuing to buy tickets at the counter.
After successfully purchasing tickets from the system, visitors will receive ticket information via registered email. At the ticket gate at the heritage site, visitors just need to scan the QR code and begin the exciting journey "back to the past" at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel heritage site.
The online ticket booking system promises to bring convenient experiences to visitors, especially for large groups of visitors, reducing waiting time during peak times of the year.
On this occasion, from June 15 to August 31, the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center offers incentives for visitors when booking tickets online, such as: 10% discount when buying tickets for the night tour Decoding Thang Long Imperial Citadel; 10% discount when renting costumes at the Imperial Citadel Vietnamese Costume booth, free photo shoot at the virtual studio of Thang Long Imperial Citadel; up to 20% discount on drinks at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel book cafe library...
The Thang Long Imperial Citadel Heritage Site is a complex of relics reflecting the historical process of the country from the feudal period: Ly, Tran, Le, Mac... to the Ho Chi Minh era. Having gone through many ups and downs and changes, the heritage site is now a proud relic site of the nation as it contains great historical value.
