With the cooperation of the Youth Union of Hanoi Law University , the Student Affairs Department of Hanoi Law University and the Media Club of Hanoi Law University , the event attracted hundreds of students to attend, marking a festival where knowledge, experience and inspiration intersect - where "future lawyers" not only discuss terms, but also discuss... wallets.

HLU students often receive compliments and compliments from people around them when introducing themselves, saying , “Wow, Law students must be really good at studying.” Because they are known as the most “hard-working” people: willing to stay up all night to research dozens of laws, dissect each precedent, and delve into the most complicated provisions.
Analytical, inquisitive, and critical thinking are their admirable qualities. However, there is one area where this “willingness to learn” sometimes takes a backseat — financial thinking. They are good at spotting legal loopholes, but have trouble spotting financial loopholes in their own wallets. They can protect millions of dollars for clients, but are confused about ensuring the safety of their own money.
In the “Universe of Money”, money flows at the speed of light; therefore, “learning” about finance and law is not only a way to increase income, but also a measure of insurance for both life and career.

In her sharing, journalist Duong Ngoc Trinh provided an insight into the relationship between finance and law. In today's society, many young people aspire to get rich quickly, but lack understanding of legality, or take legal principles lightly. This lack of understanding causes many people to fall into the "trap" of investment, credit or illegal financial models. She emphasized that Law students have a special advantage - they understand the structure of the law, grasp the boundary between "legality" and "risk". Therefore, equipping them with financial thinking not only helps them manage their own money well, but also opens up a larger role: becoming a communicator and guide society towards the right, transparent and sustainable way of getting rich.

Money Day created a lively atmosphere with a theatrical approach, bringing up topics that touched students' concerns: Why are young people often "weak in resistance" to the temptation of consumption? How to practice financial thinking if you do not major in economics ? "Small and willing to learn" - learning here means learning knowledge, skills or learning how to live disciplined with money? And among "smart consumer traps" such as refunds, discounts, or "buy now, pay later", how can you realize that you are wasting on liabilities instead of assets?

At the talk show, Ms. Le Thi Thu Phuong - Deputy Director of Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development ( BIDV ) Dong Do Branch shared about the importance of forming "Financial Antibodies" - the ability to protect yourself against the "viruses" of financial life: debt, uncontrolled spending, blind investment or emotional crisis when the market fluctuates. Just as the body needs antibodies to fight disease, personal finance also needs its own immune system to stand firm against risks.
To form a “financial antibody”, you do not need to be an economic expert. Start with budgeting - the first shield, helping you clearly know your resources and spending limits. Next is systematic income and expenditure management: the discipline to recognize bad habits and adjust. And finally, the importance of controlling emotions - the reason why you lose control of your cash flow. Besides, she also emphasized the importance of seeing financial risks as a natural part. Risks are not something to avoid, but to understand and manage. No one has never encountered risks or failures, the important thing is how you face and overcome them.

The atmosphere in the hall continued to be "lit up" with the sharing of three astronauts - excellent representatives of Hanoi Law University at The Moneyverse 2025. Each person has a different journey and perspective, but they all meet at one common point: the spirit of "willingness to learn" not only in books, but also in understanding, managing and defining the value of money.
Bang Phuong Anh – a strong but charming girl recounts the journey of learning how to transform her “arrogance” and impatience into courage and composure. She also reveals about the CineLaw project – a legal media platform in the form of short films for young people, with the message: “Knowledge is only truly valuable when it is spread.”
Nguyen Thuan Anh brings a very different story - the journey to overcome the "fear of numbers". Having considered finance a dry field, he did not expect to be ranked Top 1 in the multiple choice round at The Moneyverse. Thuan Anh shared that the competition helped him realize: "Money is not just a number, but a tool of choice and responsibility." From then on, he began to plan his spending, invest and learn to look at money with a more mature eye - a transformation that he believes every student can start, although it is better late than never.
Vu Thi Bich Hang – representing the dare-to-try spirit of social science students. She asked the whole hall: “Is it crazy for a law student to take a finance exam?” and then answered with her own journey: sleepless nights studying concepts, times practicing presentations until her voice was hoarse, and the moment her name was called to the semi-finals of The Moneyverse 2025. Hang said: “Numbers are not scary. What is scary is when we do not dare to face them.”
The three outstanding astronauts are also the pride of Hanoi Law University as they not only conquered the national financial playground, but also spread the school's spirit of persistent learning to the student community nationwide.

Ms. Le Thi Thu Phuong - representative of BIDV - the wise companion of The Moneyverse presented a scholarship worth 200 million VND to Hanoi Law University, as a recognition for the spirit of "willing to learn - daring to do - knowing how to manage oneself and money" of the young generation of lawyers. With the motto "Taking people as the center", she shared: BIDV always gives priority to developing the young generation, improving financial knowledge.
