VHO - A 6th-grade student had to be hospitalized for treatment after a school violence incident occurred right after the closing ceremony in Thai Nguyen.

Accordingly, at noon on May 22nd, after the closing ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year at Linh Son Secondary School (Linh Son Ward, Thai Nguyen ), An Luong HB, a 6th-grade student, was arranged to meet a group of fellow students at the foot of Hang Doi rocky mountain to resolve a personal conflict.

Following the incident, An Luong HB was taken by her family to Thai Nguyen A Hospital for treatment in a state of multiple injuries, panic, and still showing signs of fear.

According to information from Hospital A in Thai Nguyen, the child was admitted with multiple soft tissue abrasions and injuries to the face and body, but their health is now basically stable.

According to Dr. Trieu Xuan Phu, Department of Trauma Surgery (Hospital A, Thai Nguyen), cases of school bullying among students often suffer long-lasting psychological effects, so they need to be monitored and have their mental state stabilized alongside physical treatment.

Immediately after receiving the information, the Linh Son Ward People's Committee directed the relevant agencies to coordinate with the school and the family to verify the cause and clarify the responsibilities of the students involved.

Initial investigations indicate that the incident stemmed from a long-standing personal conflict between the students. However, they did not report the issue to their teachers or families, instead arranging to meet after the closing ceremony.

Regarding the incident, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Linh Son Ward People's Committee, said that the local authorities will handle the matter strictly according to regulations, and at the same time strengthen management and education of students during the summer break.

According to the leaders of Linh Son Ward People's Committee, the parents of the students involved have directly apologized to the family of An Luong HB, cooperated in taking the students for health checks, and agreed on responsibilities.

Following the incident, Linh Son Secondary School required the students involved to sign a commitment not to repeat the offense, with parental confirmation, and assigned the homeroom teacher to continue coordinating with the family to monitor and educate the students during the summer.

Following the incident after the closing ceremony, the Department of Education and Training of Thai Nguyen province requested Linh Son Secondary School to submit a detailed report and to rectify the moral education of students in the area.
