In 2025, the competition took place from November 27 to December 1 at Eastern University of Technology, Dong Nai province, attracting nearly 300 students and over 100 lecturers from 43 university and student delegations. nationwide participation.
* At the National qualifying round of the VEX Robotics Championship 2026 in the Northern region that just took place, the team from Dong Van Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities, Dong Van commune won the Inspirational award and entered the National Final round taking place in January 2026.

The Vietnam National Championship VEX Robotics 2026 is a leading educational and technological event held annually, creating a platform for students to access and master knowledge in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Through the activities of designing, manufacturing, controlling and programming robots, students can explore and develop critical thinking, problem-solving ability, communication skills and a spirit of cooperation.
In the qualifying round held at Dwight School ( Hanoi ), DongvanTech team, Dong Van Ethnic Boarding Secondary School and Dong Van High School participated in the VEX IQ category for secondary school students. With the theme Mix and Match, the teams participated in a strategic game, overcoming the 60-second teamwork challenge to demonstrate their robot control skills, automatic programming and answering the judges' interviews.

Surpassing many teams from provinces and cities in the Northern region, 5 ethnic minority students of DongvanTech team won the Inspirational Award and will continue to participate in the Final round of the Vietnam National Championship VEX Robotics 2026 in Hanoi.
This is the second time the Dong Van Ethnic Boarding Secondary and High School team has participated in the competition. In the 2025 season, the team also won the "Steel Will" award. The results in the qualifying round show the creativity of students in the Dong Van highlands and the effectiveness of bringing STEM and robots into schools. This is also a motivation for the school to continue to encourage students to boldly participate in intellectual playgrounds, gradually master technology, and expand integration opportunities.
