Vietnamese students won 6 medals at the International Junior Science Olympiad

All six members of the Hanoi student team participating in the 2025 International Junior Science Olympiad in the Russian Federation won medals.

On the night of December 1, information from the Vietnamese delegation participating in the 2025 International Junior Science Olympiad in the Russian Federation said that all six members of the delegation excellently won medals, including 3 silver medals and 3 bronze medals.

They are all students of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted. Three students won silver medals: Do Bao Trang, Hoang Khoi Nguyen and Tran Ngoc Hung; three students won bronze medals: Nguyen Dong Quan, Trinh Nguyen Hung and Do Manh Hung.

This year's International Junior Science Olympiad took place from November 23 to December 3 in the Russian Federation. The competition had the participation of 122 contestants from 24 countries and territories.

Participating in this competition, the Hanoi city student team, representing Vietnam, has 6 students, all from Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted.

Before leaving for the exam, the team members were trained for more than 2 months, including both theory and practice.

The International Junior Science Olympiad is a prestigious competition for students under 15 years old, organized by the Ministries of Education and Training of countries around the world. The competition aims to encourage students to have early access to practical scientific knowledge, creating momentum for global educational cooperation, opening up opportunities for cultural exchange between students and teachers.

Over the past years, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training has been entrusted by the Ministry of Education and Training and the City People's Committee with the task of selecting and establishing student groups to participate in the exam and have achieved excellent results, contributing to affirming the quality and prestige of Vietnam's leading education to other countries.

Through the years of participating in the competition (from 2007 to present), the Hanoi team, representing Vietnam, has always achieved high results.
