Innovation in directing methods of CTĐ and CTCT

Innovation in directing methods for CTĐ and CTCT is not only about changing the form of organization or the way of communication, but also about a comprehensive transformation in the thinking, approach and training methods of the director towards the students. The Department of CTĐ and CTCT at the Academy of Politics has proactively researched and flexibly applied many measures such as: Combining theory with practice, linking maps with the field; bringing students into practice in real-life situations; at the same time implementing the motto "directing according to directing" forcing students to be creative in handling.

Major General Hoang Van Phai, Deputy Director of the Academy of Politics (Deputy Head of the Steering Committee, Chief of Staff of the Exercise Framework) inspected the field exercise.

From there, students not only know the process of CTĐ and CTCT activities but also practice the ability to apply them in specific conditions. Through complex situations, students are challenged, tempered with courage, steadfastness and the ability to maintain principles in all situations. At the same time, innovating the method of directing CTĐ and CTCT activities helps students not to be stereotyped and mechanical, but to know how to handle things flexibly and creatively. This is the key point, helping students clearly see the relationship between the knowledge equipped in the classroom and the requirements in actual combat.

Command drills, one-sided, one-level agencies on the map and in the field are the highest form of comprehensive training, of special importance in the training process of political cadres at the Central and Brigade levels at the Political Academy. This is not only a step to test and evaluate the capacity of students, but also a comprehensive training environment, helping students to form the qualities, style and working methods of political commissars. At the same time, through drills, students are trained closely to actual combat, thereby improving leadership capacity, strengthening confidence, and affirming the role of political commissars at the Central and Brigade levels.

The teacher - the dedicated "director"

In each final exercise, the instructor is the dedicated “director” of the students. From the research, planning, organizing, to directing the practice on the map and in the field, the instructor always accompanies and guides closely, helping the students gradually mature in thinking, methods and working style. Not only imparting knowledge, the instructor is also an example of responsibility, perseverance and political courage, creating motivation for the students to follow.

Colonel, Dr. Hoang Manh Hung, Head of the Department of Political Commissars and Military Command, said: Innovating the method of directing Political Commissars and Military Command in command exercises, one-sided and one-level agencies on the map and in the field for students training as Political Commissars of the Central and Brigade at the Academy of Politics not only helps students grasp the process of the steps of Political Commissars and Military Command in the exercises, but also trains the mettle and working style of future political commissars. We always attach importance to linking theory with practice, so that students can mature comprehensively, have both solid knowledge and the ability to handle situations flexibly and creatively.

It is the dedication of the teacher that helps students not only learn how to work, but also be trained in qualities, leadership capacity, and directing CTĐ and CTCT activities. Thereby, forming the belief, will and style of a future central and brigade political commissar, a political officer who is "both red and professional" and has courage and intelligence, to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

Colonel, Dr. Hoang Manh Hung said that the highlight in the innovation of the method of directing CTĐ and CTCT is the close connection between theory and practical requirements of training tasks and combat readiness in the unit. Each situation in the exercise is built close to the actual combat situation, in which there is openness, diversity and complexity, forcing students to apply the synthesis of knowledge and skills learned in class, while promoting creative thinking in handling situations. Thereby, students not only practice the ability to respond to difficult political and military situations, but also form the mettle and working style of a political commissar in a modern combat environment.

Political Director of the Framework for implementing work for the agency.

Major Nguyen Van Hoa, a student of class 60C, shared: Through each drill, we not only practice the skills to handle complex military and political situations, but also foster a sense of responsibility, steadfastness and a clear awareness of the core role of a political commissar and political officer in all conditions and circumstances.

Innovation in the method of directing CTĐ and CTCT activities is not only the effort of each lecturer but also the synchronous coordination of the entire Faculty of CTĐ and CTCT and the departments. The staff and lecturers in the Faculty have regularly exchanged, trained, supplemented knowledge, updated active teaching methods, learned from experience... Thanks to that, the process of directing CTĐ and CTCT activities in the drills has become more and more lively, close to reality, creating a comprehensive training environment for students.
