Hoi An is Asia's leading cultural city destination for the fifth consecutive year.

At the World Travel Awards 2025 ceremony held in Bahrain on the evening of December 6, Hoi An was honored as Asia's leading cultural city destination.

Accordingly, Hoi An excelled over 6 other cities in the nominated Asian region to be honored in this category for the 5th consecutive year. Hoi An was recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage and has been the leading cultural tourism destination in the region for many years. In recent years, Hoi An has welcomed an average of about 5 million international visitors each year.
