The fair is not only a place to display goods that attracts a large number of visitors and shoppers, but also a living laboratory for the digital transformation process in trade promotion activities, where Vietnamese businesses learn how to flexibly combine "real markets" and "virtual markets", gradually bringing Vietnamese products to a wider "coverage" on the domestic and international trade map.

Promote your brand and increase sales at the same time

These days, at the first Autumn Fair in 2025 (National Exhibition Center, Dong Anh, Hanoi ), the industrial equipment display area and the booth of Winci Vietnam Company are always crowded with visitors. Mr. Tran Hoai Duc, a sales staff of Winci, said: “This fair is beyond expectations. The number of visitors is high and sales are also much higher than in previous months when compared to a business location. Participating in the fair, we realized that the greatest value is not just selling products but selling the brand story.”

Not only startups, but also large manufacturing units take advantage of this connection point. HTC Limited Company (a manufacturer of motorbikes and mechanical equipment) welcomed hundreds of visitors and received many cooperation proposals from foreign agents. HTC representative said that the fair helps businesses expand their domestic customer base and open up export directions to new markets.

Many small businesses and craft village cooperatives have also benefited significantly. Stalls of handicrafts, cuisine and OCOP products (One Commune One Product Program) recorded tens of millions of VND in revenue every day, while expanding distribution channels and increasing brand awareness.

Thematic exhibition areas and cultural and commercial booths always maintain a stable and vibrant customer density, demonstrating a strong influence in stimulating domestic consumption, promoting Vietnamese goods and boosting production and business development.

Notably, the first Autumn Fair in 2025 is recording a sharp increase in domestic purchasing power. Deputy General Director in charge of food business in the Northern region (CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company) Nguyen Thi Nghia shared: "Retail revenue at the fair increased 10 times compared to a normal point of sale, more importantly, it is an opportunity to promote, connect with consumers and introduce new products".

At the food court, the stall of Ba Vi Dong Co Milk under Dong Co Milk Joint Stock Company (Hanoi) also recorded positive sales. The company representative, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Anh, said that the stall had almost all the typical products of Ba Vi milk region - from fresh milk, yogurt, caramel to cheese and brown sugar pearl milk.

Meanwhile, the “Quintessence of Autumn Hanoi” area gathers about 30 artisans and skilled workers representing many famous craft villages of the capital. Each booth is designed as a “living experience space”, where viewers can touch, try, and create with the artisans. It is this direct interaction that makes the space come alive, giving visitors the feeling of “entering the world of traditional crafts”.

In addition to its cultural value, “Quintessence of Autumn in Hanoi” also opens up clear commercial opportunities. The large number of customers and flexible sales methods - from demonstrations, displays, to sales via QR codes - are helping Hanoi's handicraft products get closer to domestic consumers and export markets. Many artisans shared that on the first day, they received cooperation offers from retail businesses and foreign partners. The stable number of customers, positive order signals and thorough preparation of artisans show the great potential for Hanoi's handicraft products.

From large corporations to potential domestic brands, the first Autumn Fair 2025 vividly portrayed the vitality of Vietnamese goods - where tradition and modernity, brand and identity, economy and culture intersect.

Not only stopping at domestic retail activities with a large number of visitors and shoppers, the multi-channel sales trend of businesses and production facilities participating in the fair also opens up the way for online export.

The businesses participating in this year's fair are quite diverse - from large corporations with products ready for export to small businesses and business households with advantages in OCOP products, regional agricultural products, handicrafts, wood and processed goods. Many businesses combine both on-site sales and sales via live streaming on digital platforms and social networks (livestream).

However, Amazon Global Selling Vietnam Account Manager Nguyen Duc Hoa noted: “Not all products can be sold. Businesses need to adjust designs, packaging, and brands to suit international customer tastes. Amazon can support the process, but businesses must proactively change to go further.”

Within the framework of the event, more than 30 trade promotion activities, supply-demand connection, trade conferences and thematic forums were organized, focusing on key topics such as green transformation, digital transformation, circular economy and national brand development. Notably, many international trade connection sessions took place with the participation of businesses and promotion organizations from Japan, Korea, China, Singapore, New Zealand and the European Union.

According to the assessment of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the first Autumn Fair in 2025 has created a positive ripple effect in society, contributing to honoring Vietnamese goods, while enhancing the image, position and prestige of Vietnam in the international arena.

The Fair recorded more than 100 cooperation agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoUs) signed between Vietnamese enterprises and international partners in the fields of investment, trade, technology transfer, supply chain development and export cooperation, opening up new opportunities in the process of international economic integration. The MoUs and cooperation agreements signed right at the Fair vividly demonstrated a dynamic, integrated and vibrant Vietnam. This result affirmed that the Vietnamese market is not only attractive in terms of scale and development speed, but also a safe, friendly and promising destination for international investors in the new period.

Obviously, the first Autumn Fair in 2025 is not only a gathering place for businesses. The exciting events at the fair have also affirmed the stature and appeal of Vietnam on the global trade map.
