In 2026, the Ho Chi Minh City Veterans Association will focus on building a strong association, innovating its operational methods, and promoting the role of core members; concentrating on surveying and repairing houses and supporting members in difficult circumstances…
The focus is on continuing to promote the effectiveness of the model "Core Group of Veterans participating in protecting the Party's ideological foundation at the grassroots level"; maintaining the proportion and improving the quality of cadres and members participating in Party committees, branches, government, the Fatherland Front, and political and social organizations at the grassroots level; and continuing to effectively implement the Sustainable Poverty Eradication Project in the City's Veterans Association for the period 2026-2030 according to the new poverty standard.

To achieve those goals and tasks, the results of the association's work in 2025 will be an important foundation for the city's Veterans Association at all levels to continue to develop.
Specifically, in 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City Veterans Association made a significant mark by implementing 749 models and projects to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country.
Typical examples include the "National Flag Route" model and the "Core Group of Veterans Participating in Protecting the Party's Ideological Foundation"... which have created a strong ripple effect in the community, contributing to maintaining political stability at the grassroots level.

In 2025, with the "Digital Literacy Campaign," the various levels of the association organized numerous training courses to modernize their operational work. Currently, the electronic document system has been implemented synchronously across 168 grassroots associations, helping to improve management efficiency and interaction between different levels of the association.

Over the past year, the various levels of the association have also focused on implementing many projects and activities demonstrating strong camaraderie, with over 48,800 gifts (worth over 25.1 billion VND); mobilizing members and philanthropists to support the demolition of 86 temporary and dilapidated houses for people in the area with a total amount of over 5 billion VND.
