On the afternoon of May 29, comrade Tran Song Tung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2024 chaired the meeting of the Organizing Committee of Ninh Binh Tourism Week.
Also attending were members of the Organizing Committee, representatives of relevant departments, branches, units and enterprises.
Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2024 with the theme "The Golden Color of Tam Coc - Trang An" will take place for 8 days, from June 1 to June 8, 2024 at the provincial level. This year's Tourism Week will have many new and unique features such as the agricultural ceremony to welcome the new rice crop with 63 boats carrying agricultural products, the experience of boating on the river, etc. In particular, the opening ceremony will take place at Dong Gung bus station, Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist area with the participation of many famous singers.
At the conference, delegates reported on the progress of the assigned tasks. Accordingly, up to this point, many important tasks have been effectively and responsibly implemented by the units. The Department of Tourism has coordinated to develop the script and prepare the conditions for organizing the experience program associated with agricultural rituals; propaganda work has been widely deployed; a thoughtful plan to welcome delegates has been developed; a stage and grandstands have been installed for the Opening Ceremony; the plan to install LED screens at Tam Coc boat landing to serve people and tourists watching the program has been completed. The functional forces have developed a plan to ensure security and order, traffic safety, fire prevention, etc.
With a spirit of responsibility and high concentration, at the conference, delegates also discussed and proposed solutions to overcome difficulties related to traffic flow, parking locations, grandstand capacity, security and order, performance times of response cultural activities, etc.
Speaking at the conference, Comrade Tran Song Tung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of Ninh Binh Tourism Week, praised the active participation of all levels, sectors, units and enterprises. During the implementation process, the units closely followed the assigned tasks and promoted the spirit of initiative and creativity.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that Ninh Binh Tourism Week is an important event that contributes to promoting the image of the nature and people of the Ancient Capital, stimulating tourism demand in the low season, and positioning the Ninh Binh tourism brand on the domestic and international map. Therefore, the organization of the event must both honor the cultural, historical and human values of the Ancient Capital and ensure absolute safety for delegates, people and visitors when attending.
Determining that the number of visitors to the Tourism Week, especially during the Opening Ceremony, will be very large, the Head of the Organizing Committee of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2024 requested departments, branches, units and enterprises to continue to uphold the spirit of responsibility, perform well the assigned tasks to ensure the event takes place impressively and successfully.
Specifically, the police force, local authorities and businesses continue to review plans to ensure traffic safety, security and order, fire prevention, minimize the risk of accidents and avoid property damage to tourists, especially in parking lots.
Hoa Lu District People's Committee continues to direct communes to ensure environmental sanitation, strictly implement culture and tourism civilization, and prevent the occurrence of solicitation of tourists. The Department of Information and Communications, the Department of Health, Ninh Binh Electricity, and related units have fully prepared the conditions for the Opening Ceremony to take place safely and successfully. In addition, it is necessary to promote information and propaganda work on social networking platforms before, during and after the event, and at the same time widely inform people and tourists about traffic diversion plans to ensure traffic, etc.
Based on the comments and suggestions of delegates at the conference, the Department of Tourism synthesizes, reports and advises the Provincial People's Committee to promptly remove difficulties and recommendations.
The Head of the Organizing Committee of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2024 also agreed that the opening ceremony rehearsal will take place on the evening of May 31, 2024.
