Also attending were the heads of the General Staff Department, Political Department, Logistics and Technical Department, commander of Brigade 127 (Naval Region 5) and agencies and units under the An Giang Provincial Military Command.

At the conference, the two sides evaluated the results of training, regular building, Party activities, political work, and logistics and technical support for the ships of the permanent militia squadron during the training period at Brigade 127.

Accordingly, training contents are deployed seriously and according to plan; officers and soldiers have a high sense of responsibility, actively study, practice, repair, preserve and master weapons and technical equipment, ensuring absolute safety in training and operations at sea.

Delegates also discussed and agreed on a number of contents that need to be further improved, especially the work of ensuring material and technical resources; arranging and consolidating equipment on board; strengthening the review and speeding up the progress of the remaining tasks, ensuring that all preparations for the competition and sports festival are carried out synchronously, closely and effectively.

Speaking at the conference, Lieutenant Colonel Mai Dang Danh and Colonel Nguyen Thanh An acknowledged and commended the sense of responsibility of agencies and units in the coordination and preparation process; at the same time, they reminded officers and soldiers of the permanent militia fleet to continue promoting the achieved results, actively review and prepare carefully in all aspects to participate in competitions and sports events to achieve high results and absolute safety.

As planned, the Good Ship Competition and the 2025 Standing Militia Squadron Ship Training Sports Festival organized by the Navy in Region 4 (Phu Quoc) will take place from November 27 to 29.
