Conference of Emulation Block of Wards and Exchange of Urban Areas of Lao Cai Province in 2025

On the morning of November 14, Sa Pa Ward People's Committee organized the Emulation Block Conference of wards and a meeting and exchange program between urban areas in Lao Cai province in 2025.

Attending the conference were representatives of the Vietnam Urban Planning and Development Association; the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Department; the Departments of Construction, Finance, and Home Affairs; the Provincial Tourism Association; the Provincial Business Association; representatives of 10 wards in the province and a number of related units.

According to Decision No. 1028/QD-UBND dated September 4, 2025, the Emulation Block of Lao Cai Province's wards includes 10 urban center wards: Van Phu, Yen Bai , Nam Cuong, Au Lau, Nghia Lo, Trung Tam, Sa Pa, Cau Thia, Cam Duong, Lao Cai. Sa Pa Ward plays the role of Block Leader.

At the conference, the emulation bloc agreed to deploy the 2025 action plan with the goal of creating competitive motivation, completing socio -economic development targets; discovering, fostering and replicating good models and effective practices; strengthening solidarity and exchange between units in the bloc.

The emulation theme for 2025 is determined as: "Promoting the implementation of 3 strategic breakthroughs, actively attracting investment, proactively and promptly overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, effectively operating local governments at 2 levels, contributing to promoting sustainable socio-economic development, ensuring a prosperous and happy life for the people; successfully organizing party congresses at all levels".

Action motto: "Speed, discipline, creativity, efficiency".

The key emulation contents include: propagating and effectively implementing Directive No. 41-CT/TW of the Politburo on emulation and reward work in the new situation; launching a widespread emulation movement in the political system and among the people; promoting emulation movements according to the province's themes; focusing on removing difficulties, promoting production and business, administrative reform, attracting investment, developing urban areas, tourism, industry and agriculture.

Along with that is strengthening environmental protection, responding to climate change, effectively exploiting resources, harmoniously developing the economy - society with environmental protection; improving national defense - security capacity, being ready to respond to natural disasters, search and rescue; promoting technology application, digital transformation, implementing the "Digital Education for All" movement, improving digital skills for people...

Speaking at the conference, comrade To Ngoc Lien, Chairman of Sa Pa Ward People's Committee, Head of the emulation bloc, emphasized: The emulation bloc of wards in the province has clearly identified the goals and directions of activities in 2025, focusing on building a synchronous and comprehensive plan, associated with political tasks, socio-economic development and Party building, and the political system at the grassroots level.

In the coming time, the wards will continue to coordinate closely, increase experience exchange and launch practical and effective emulation movements, especially in key areas such as digital transformation, administrative reform, environmental sanitation, social security and civilized urban construction..., contributing to building the image of a dynamic, modern and sustainably developing Lao Cai urban area.
