National Conference to Understand and Implement the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party

The national conference on studying, understanding, and implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party took place this morning (February 7th). The conference was held in person, with the main venue in the Dien Hong meeting room of the National Assembly building connecting online to various ministries, departments, localities, and agencies.

The conference focused on studying, understanding, and implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party, concentrating on new points, core contents, and breakthroughs. Based on this, Party committees at all levels led and directed the development of action programs to implement the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party; simultaneously, they widely disseminated it throughout the Party, the people, and the armed forces, creating unity of will and action in the implementation process, helping cadres and Party members grasp the core contents and new points in the documents of the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Prior to the conference, delegates will visit the exhibition "Outstanding Achievements in Vietnam's Economic and Cultural Development".

At the conference, delegates will listen to leaders present 10 topics.

Specifically, Topic 1: "Some new, core issues and experiences of 40 years of reform in the documents of the 14th Party Congress" was presented by Comrade Trinh Van Quyet, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.

Topic 2: "Action Program for Implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party" delivered by Comrade Pham Minh Chinh , Prime Minister.

Topic 3: "Report summarizing Party building work during the 13th Party Congress term and summarizing 15 years of implementing the Party Charter (2011 - 2025); directions, tasks, and solutions for Party building work and implementation of the Party Charter during the 14th Party Congress term" delivered by Comrade Le Minh Hung, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, and Head of the Central Organization Department.

Topic 4: "Assessment of the 5-year implementation of the 10-year socio-economic development strategy 2021-2030 and the socio-economic development plan 2026-2030" delivered by Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nghi, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee.

Topic 5: "Promoting the strength of national unity in the cause of national construction, development and defense in the new era" delivered by Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, and Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Topic 6: "New thinking and awareness on national defense and protection of the Fatherland of the 14th Party Congress" delivered by Comrade Phan Van Giang, Member of the Political Bureau and Minister of National Defense.

Topic 7: "New thinking and awareness on national security of the 14th Party Congress" delivered by Comrade Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Political Bureau and Minister of Public Security.

Topic 8: "Developing foreign relations in the new era commensurate with the historical, cultural stature and position of the country" delivered by Comrade Le Hoai Trung, Member of the Political Bureau, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Topic 9: "Outline summarizing 100 years of the Party's leadership of the Vietnamese revolution (1930 - 2030), orientation and leadership for national development in the next 100 years (2030 - 2130) and summarizing 40 years of implementing the Platform for building the country during the transitional period to socialism" delivered by Comrade Doan Minh Huan, Member of the Political Bureau, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.

Topic 10: "Innovating inspection and supervision work to contribute to strengthening discipline and order to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation in the spirit of Resolution of the 14th National Congress" delivered by Comrade Tran Sy Thanh, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee.

According to the program, General Secretary To Lam will deliver an important speech guiding the Conference.
