On the morning of July 29, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department organized a scientific workshop on "Improving the effectiveness of family work in preserving and promoting family cultural values in Cao Bang province in the current period". Comrade Be Thanh Tinh, member of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department attended and chaired the conference. Attending the workshop were representatives of leaders of departments, branches, unions, socio- political organizations, professional organizations, district Party Committees, city Party Committees, and affiliated Party Committees; leaders of the People's Committees of Hoa An and Ha Lang districts.

Speaking at the workshop, comrade Be Thanh Tinh, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, emphasized that the family is the place to nurture, shape the personality and foster the soul and mettle of each person; the place to preserve and promote good traditional cultural values. In recent years, Party committees and authorities at all levels have regularly paid attention to leading, directing the implementation, organizing the study, thoroughly grasping and implementing resolutions and directives related to family work. In particular, there is the role of the Propaganda Department at all levels in advising Party committees to direct and orient family work, thereby having specific and practical tasks and solutions to continue putting the Party's directives and resolutions on family work into practice; strengthening the urging, guidance, inspection and supervision of the implementation; advising on the preliminary and final review of the Party's directives and resolutions on the family field.
At the workshop, with a spirit of enthusiasm and responsibility, delegates exchanged, discussed and clarified the results of direction and implementation of leadership work of Party committees at all levels, the management and administration of authorities at all levels, the participation of political and social organizations, the participation of the whole society in family building work, improving the effectiveness of family work in preserving and promoting family cultural values in the province... The issues raised in the workshop are the basis for Party committees, authorities at all levels and sectors to direct, deploy and implement innovations to improve the effectiveness of family work in general and preserve and promote family cultural values in particular in Cao Bang province in response to the new requirements of the current period. At the same time, raise awareness among cadres, party members and people about the importance, position, role and responsibility of the family, contributing to building a "Prosperous, progressive, happy and civilized" family in accordance with the spirit of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, especially the direction at the National Cultural Conference on November 24, 2021 by the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
Concluding the workshop, Comrade Be Thanh Tinh, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, requested Party committees, authorities, agencies, units and localities to continue to advise on the effective implementation of Plan No. 100-KH/TU on implementing Directive No. 06-CT/TW and other documents of the Central and the province on family work, with specific solutions to strive to complete the set contents and targets; organize training courses to improve capacity, skills and knowledge on propagandaand education on ethics and lifestyle in the family for cadres and civil servants working in family work at all levels; build and replicate models and clubs on typical, happy and exemplary families. At the same time, strongly innovate information and propaganda work to raise awareness of Party committees, authorities and the whole society about the position, role and importance of the family, towards family cultural values.
