The second workshop on the book History of Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee Office (1930 - 2025)

On the afternoon of October 31, the Provincial Party Committee Office organized the second workshop on the book History of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee Office 1930 - 2025. Comrade Do Van Thang, Provincial Party Committee member, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office, Head of the Steering Committee, and the Editorial Board chaired the workshop. Attending were former leaders and officials of the Provincial Party Committee Office through the periods; and the team editing and compiling the book.

In his opening speech, comrade Do Van Thang emphasized: Compiling the book History of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee Office (1930 - 2025) is a task of profound political , historical and humanistic significance, aiming to record the formation, development and contributions of the Provincial Party Committee Office over the past 95 years. This is not only a scientific research work but also a valuable document serving the work of educating traditions, fostering pride and responsibility for the team of cadres, civil servants and public employees of the Party Committee Office today.

At the workshop, delegates focused on discussing and contributing ideas on the name, layout, content, method and presentation of the book. The Editorial Board agreed on the official name of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee Office History 1930 - 2025 to fully and comprehensively reflect the activities of the Provincial Party Committee Office until 2025.

The second draft of the book History of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee Office 1930 - 2025 consists of 262 pages, with an introductory introduction summarizing the land and people of Cao Bang, 6 chapters and a conclusion. In addition, there are portraits of the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office; some pictures of the activities of the Provincial Party Committee Office through the periods, appendices and reference documents. The content closely follows the functions, tasks and activities of the Provincial Party Committee Office in each period, affirming the advisory and assisting role of the Provincial Party Committee Office in organizing and operating the leadership and direction of the implementation of policies and resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee through historical periods.

The workshop also agreed on a number of professional contents: Continue to supplement documents on the establishment of the Provincial Party Committee Office (May 1948); Review and complete information on the organization, staffing and functions of the Office through the periods; Supplement and verify the full names, titles, working time and portraits of 17 former leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office who are still lacking documents; Update and supplement photos of activities and original documents reflecting special historical periods such as the period of Cao Lang province's unification, the resistance war against France and the US, the period of renovation and integration.

In his concluding remarks, Comrade Do Van Thang acknowledged the sense of responsibility, the enthusiastic and accurate opinions of the delegates. At the same time, he requested the Editorial Board to seriously absorb, supplement and edit the final draft, ensuring scientific , objective and high practical value. The Steering Committee and the Editorial Board agreed to complete the second draft before November 7, 2025, ensuring progress, quality and provincial-level appraisal process.

The book History of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee Office (1930 - 2025) is not only a historical work marking the development stages of the Provincial Party Committee Office but also a deep gratitude to generations of cadres, civil servants and employees who have contributed to the revolutionary cause of the Party and Cao Bang province. This is a valuable source of documents, contributing to educating traditions, fostering confidence and motivation for the Office's staff today to continue to innovate, be creative, professional, modern, and meet the requirements of tasks in the new period.
