| The organizing committee is judging the entries for the spring-themed room design. |
The competition involved 14 teams from various agencies and units throughout the brigade. The teams invested considerable effort in their ideas, layout, and messaging, decorating their rooms to welcome the Lunar New Year in a dignified and warm manner, reflecting the traditional spirit of the Vietnamese Tet holiday and showcasing the unique characteristics of each unit. The organizing committee will compile the results and award prizes during the flag-raising ceremony on the first day of the Lunar New Year 2026 (Year of the Horse).
The competition is held annually to create a joyful, united, and close-knit atmosphere within the unit, contributing to encouraging and motivating officers and soldiers to work with peace of mind and successfully complete their assigned tasks.
* On the same day, the 189th Naval Brigade organized a ceremony to offer incense and flowers in commemoration of the heroic martyrs at the Gac Ma Martyrs Memorial and the Cam Ranh Political Prisoners Memorial. Here, officers and soldiers expressed their profound respect and gratitude for the immense contributions of the heroes and martyrs to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
