“Book and flower exhibition” contest, “Healthy and beautiful women” folk dance festival in 2025

(binhdinh.gov.vn) On the afternoon of March 8, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union organized the "Book and Flower Exhibition" Contest with the theme "Books - Light of Knowledge and the Millennium" and the Folk Dance Festival "Happy and Healthy Melody" in 2025. Speaking at the festival, Vice President in charge of the Provincial Women's Union Dang Thi Hong Hanh said that this is an opportunity for women to show their beauty in health training, confidently express their interests and strengths, and also an opportunity for female members to exchange and learn, exchange experiences, strengthen solidarity, and improve their cultural and spiritual life. Thereby contributing to building the image of Vietnamese women in the new era who have knowledge and health to fulfill their responsibilities to themselves, their families, society and the country.

Through the “Book and Flower Exhibition” contest, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women’s Union hopes to encourage and develop the reading movement in the community, raise awareness among female members about the great significance and importance of reading for the development of knowledge, skills and thinking,education and training of human personality. At the same time, it is an opportunity to honor the value of books, affirm the position, role and importance of books in social life, an opportunity to honor readers and those who participate in composing, publishing, printing, distributing, collecting and preserving books. At the same time, it is also an opportunity to promote the responsibility of all levels and sectors for building and developing a reading culture in Vietnam.

The "Book and Flower Exhibition" Contest and the Folk Dance Festival in 2025 will take place in 2 parts: Part one is the "Book and Flower Exhibition" Contest with the display, creative arrangement, and meaningfulness of art book models with the theme "Books - Light of Knowledge and the Millennium" not only affirming the position, role, and importance of books in improving knowledge, skills, developing thinking, educating and training human personality, but also encouraging and developing the reading movement among members, women, and the community. This afternoon, with excellent and meaningful products,

Part two is the Folk Dance Festival of members, women, and members of folk dance clubs of 05 units: Quy Nhon, An Nhon, Tuy Phuoc, Tay Son, Phu Cat. The content includes 01 compulsory folk dance on the background music of "Spring Country Medley", "Saigon Girl Carrying Ammunition"... launched by the Central Association and 01 optional song.

As a result of the contest, the Women's Union of An Nhon Town won first prize in the Book and Flower Exhibition Contest; the Women's Union of Phu Cat District won first prize in the Folk Dance Festival.
